It’s cool for her for the touch and she has fallen in love with this bed! WOW!!! She’s never been so excited, but this bed feels good, it’s cool for summer, seems very durable, looks easy to clean, there is one draw back, it’s just not quite thick enough. I don’t feel any padding in it and she lays on hard floors so I’m a little concerned about her having pain from not having enough thickness support. If there is any cushioning at all, it is very minute. As for her and this bed, she has immediately taken to it so maybe it is going to be just what she likes?! We will see and if so, I will buy another one. Also, these folks that have provided us with this doggy bed, they included a rope toy and it also has a storage bag so you can literally pack it up and take it with you! Again, we will see, but she hasn’t gotten off this bed. SHE LOVES THIS BED!!! Thanks so much.

I like the fact that this folds up and has a carrying bag. I use it when we go camping so I am limited for space. Don't expect it to be totally waterproof if there is very wet ground but it does a decent job. There was a ton of rain the weekend that I used this for my dog and water got in the seams. On a normal damp day I'm sure this would do a fine job. I ordered the orange mat. It was so muddy and wet the weekend we camped that it almost looked totally brown. I never thought it would come clean. I sprayed most of the mud off with the garden hose then threw it in the washer. When it came out it looked new again! I was amazed. Be careful around the campfire as sparks easily melt the material. All in all this is a nice mat and cleans up great!

Reorder beware!! This review is aimed more at Amazon than the supplier. I bought 3 of these and absolutely love them for the yard, driveway, camping…anywhere actually. I reordered more as the dogs have worn them out and much to my dismay they are now about 9-10” smaller in both length and width. Granted, the dimensions are probably in the description but there should be some indicator that a REORDER will not be a direct replacement. As long as you’re aware of the size, this product is absolutely great!!

As others have stated it is paper thin, so it will provide no cushion. Luckily, cushion was not was I was after. I just wanted something my small breed senior dogs could lay on that was waterproof/resistant. This item is allegedly waterproof yet I cannot attest to it's capability in that regard. It states "washable" on the add but the care label states "hand wash only". That is concerning to me since hand washing something so large will be quite cumbersome and less effective. Is it hand wash only because the agitation of a washing machine will ruin it? Time will tell. The stitching appears to be decent but it does look they didn't end the stitching with an "invisible stitch" so it looks like an inexperience person stitched it. All in all, I am not convinced it's worth $30. It's nice, and seems it will serve the purpose for me but the price is a bit high considering the false advertising.

My husband insists on buying dog beds for our three GSD’s and I’m not a huge fan because they can be a pain to keep clean. Then he found these outdoor dog mats and ordered one and boy am I glad he did! Our dogs spend a lot of time outside with us and the pavers are hard, but they like how cool they are, These beds not only offer some comfort, they also stay cool. They look nice, easy to fold up and put back in the sack they came in and are easy to clean! Very good purchase!

I have been used this for five nights for my eight-week-old German Shepherd/Lab mix puppies. It fits perfectly in the Dog Crate Tray in the bottom of the Crate. They have pooped and peed all over it. It cleans up perfectly with a little soap and very little effort. They have made no holes in it, not ripped it, not been able to chew it. I am very impressed and happy. The only part they have been able to chew is the little loop on the end. They chew it into the first night and made little tooth holes in it. But they were unable to do the same to the pad. For the manufacturers of this pad, I recommend leaving off the little loop. It is not necessary. I will try to remember to update this as the puppies grow, but right now, I couldn't be happier. Update one week later. Everything I said above is still true. I love this mat. As of now, I have one more suggestion for the creators of the mat. There is a little rubber rectangle sewn on the loop end of the mat. It says GO WILD. As my crate was shorter than the mat, I had been turning that end down under. Night before last, I inadvertently turned the opposite end under and whoops, the puppies found something else they could chew on. They demolished the little tag, making just one tooth hole in the mat. Remove this little rubber label. It is not necessary, and it gives a possibility of chewing up the mat. For buyers: Until the creators remove this rubber piece, I suggest that you remove it carefully before using it. I still highly recommend this mat.

I ordered this back in 2022. Just this year it got a rip so i decided to order another. I'm not entirely sure what's going on but this new one has less than half the filing the older one did. I'm considering returning it. If you just want a thin pad then this will work. If you want literally any sort of cushion i would look elsewhere.

Materials are good, the bed is big enough, it can be rolled easily. My dogs love for outdoor napping especially.

Initially bought this dog bed for travel because it's lightweight, waterproof, and can roll up into a little bag that it comes with. But I love also using it in our bedroom because it doesn't take up as much space as a normal thick dog bed. I used to always find myself walking all over my dog's bed but this is very easy to just fold quick or tuck under the bed when I don't want it to be in the way. It's also very easy to wash. I just throw it in on cold water and tumble dry low or you can air dry it. The fact that it's washable and waterproof is huge. Our cat sometimes gets jealous and pees on our dog's bed, so this is great because it doesn't soak through to the floor and I could just toss it in the wash when it gets dirty. It's also very easy to vacuum and doesn't really attract hair that much and I have a dog and a cat both with long hair. It's also double-sided so you can choose which color you would like to use. It also has not stained and we've been using it heavily for almost a year now. It is thin, but if you want more cushion for your dog you could always get two or put it on top of a carpet or a folded blanket . My dog doesn't mind because he loves to sleep on the floor most nights anyway. Highly recommend! The only dog bed you really need.

I bought this product as we were traveling to a dog event by airplane and I needed a bed that I could compress down for suitcase packing. I used this product both inside and outdoors. It was great to use outdoors because it was waterproof and the wet grass and ground below never reached her, keeping her warmer and more comfortable. Using it in the vehicle, it was a great addition in her travel kennel. Because the finish of this is somewhat smooth because of its waterproofness, doubled it up for the 24 inch kennel and placed a fleece blanket over top. It gave her lots of cushioning and she was super comfortable for travel and napping. The two pictures included show it being used indoors with standard wire-haired dachshunds. This is a good size reference. It was a great size for my dogs. I think it would be a good size for a border collie size dog and anything below. Comfortable and warm, my dogs sought this out. Again I used to fleece blankets on top to make it more luxurious for them. It comes with a compression sack. I further compressed it using paracord and buckle straps that could be pulled down for further compression. I've washed it several times and it washes great. Would not hesitate to buy again. The interior filling has maintained its fluffiness through washing several times and drying to about half dry. And then I hang it. I'm wanting to maintain the waterproofness. Good product!
