Ended sole and heel pain but slightly shorter lifespan.
Was having problems with pain in my heels and soles of my feet due I think to working on concrete floors all day. I've bought several brands and types of boots and trainers all to no effect. My employer supplied me with a pair of these only without the ankle protection and they fixed it for me. They decided to move to another make however because they dont last as long as some brands and the sole eventually splits and breaks up. I think that pair lasted me about 9 months which is good enough for me given the foot pain is gone. They ARE on the large side however and reasonably wide fit so if you buy then dont plum for the size bigger that you would usually do with steel toe capped shoes. I've cut back one star because of the shorter life but that extra life is probably only worth about 7 to 8 pounds I guess and I paid way more than that on single pairs of footwear that were not hurting my feet and what price comfort?

SQUEAKY SOUL'S
Arrived on time and they fit really well as I have wide feet. The main problem the soul's squeak when you walk which is a real pain .I think i'll be sending them back because of the squeaking souls a real shame but im not putting up with it.

Sturdy shoes and so far OK
Sturdy shoes and so far OK. I'm a 9 and they feel a bit on the large side, but then with thicker socks they're a better fit. The laces are through material loops not holes, so it remains to be seen how long they last.Good value for money.

Comfortable
As other reviews have stated these do come in as slightly larger than the size they list but I just inserted some gel insoles and that sorted that issue out.Very comfortable to wear.Seem very well madeThe real test will be how long they last

Good trainers
Excellent price for these trainers. I ordered a size 10 but they where far too big. The seller replaced them with a nine and they where perfect. Apart from that they look and feel good. Just be careful when ordering, they do seem to be large made.

Come up a bit bigger than expected, so have to just ware a thicker pair of socks - But well worth the money.
