Fantastic product that works perfectly and does everything it says it would. The 3 different speed options and the handy LED lights make it incredibly easy and safe to trim my dog's nails without any stress. I've a 12 yr old dog who loathes having his paws faffed with let alone nails cut - unfortunately had an incident at the vets when they cut his nail too far and it bled so future attempts always ended up stressful. I'd bought a nail grinder few years ago but was noisy and my dog wouldn't entertain the idea of it going near him. So I was dubious about purchasing another grinder but thought I'd give it another try. After a bit of research I decided to opt for the Iredoon one mainly for the quietness and the 18month warranty - being a reasonable price was also a bonus as I wasn't feeling confident my dog would like it. Arrived next day, promptly put it on charge and I was soon introducing it to my dog. The first speed setting is quietest and vibration is minimal didn't startle my dog at all. However, once I started to use it on a nail did my dog then disliked it. I persisted and within few minutes my dog was a lot calmer and willing. I was so pleased that finally I'm able to trim my dogs nails which doesn't stress him out too much. I'm confident that as I use it for short frequent periods he will get used to it and will become even easier. The unit seems pretty robust, easy to hold and use. The various ports enables me to get the correct angle I need for each nail. The LED lights are bright and I didn't use them whilst trimming as felt it was just something else that may annoy my dog but it's a feature I think may be useful especially for light coloured nails - my dog has hard, black ones and not sure if I'd be able to see the quick. I find the unit is gentle and effective - I only wish I'd bought it years ago and introduced it to my dog when he was a puppy but so chuffed that finally found a way of trimming my dogs nails which doesn't stress him out into a frenzy.

Brilliant nail grinder!!! Is very well made and comes with a lifetime guarentee! Really happy with this didnt seem to bother my frenchie much at all apart from the odd little kick because she was getting bored. Its really a great help for us as she hates going vets and having them done so now i can do them at home where shes less anxiious. If you have an a anxious dog who hates having nails done this is well worth a try it has been successful for us. Hardly any noise when on,my dog actually wanted to play with it (think she thought it was a stick!) little bit more noise as you grind nail but if you just do tiny bit at time and make it fun by giving treats mine didny seem to mind. Proud of my doggy for being such a good girl and happy that i purchased this grinder!!! Very good value for money and easy to use

I've got a little French Bulldog that has become increasingly clipper shy as he's got older, so I thought I'd give this a go, and it works! It did not disappoint, the 4 LED lights do a great job of highlighting exactly where the quick is which means I can quickly and effectively cut his claws to the right length. It’s very simple to use and has a cap that can be put over the grinding edge to shape access to the grinder depending on the size of your pets’ claws. To be honest I didn’t use that adjustment and simply used the grinder with the dust cap fitted to capture the ground off dust. BEWARE of other nail grinders that are clipper / grinder combinations there is absolutely no need for clippers with this powerful and quiet device. It quickly and safely grinds each nail down in seconds which minimises any distress. I also like the option to change the grinding speeds and the battery % status so you know exactly when you will need to recharge (not for a while yet!) And the cherry on the cake I know I’ll be using this for a long while as I opted to sign up for the LIFETIME GUARENTEE, which is testament to the quality of the product and how sure IREDOON are of this products long term reliability.

With two big Labradors that don’t like having their nails done I was looking for something to help the process be a bit easier. This product is really simple to use, the battery life is excellent and the built in light really helped me see what I was doing. It’s also nice and quiet which made it far more comfortable for my dogs who enjoyed a cuddle whilst I sorted them out

The noise doesn't bother my dogs. It is quiet. However I'll probably only use this to smooth a nail off. In practice it simply takes too long to grind an individual nail down although that may vary based on how long your dog will tolerate being still. I however do think it's a good tool for upkeeping an already trimmed nail short.

As everyone knows trying to clip your pets claws is not easy. It took two of us to hold our Labrador down to clip her claws. The stress and anxiety was huge on our poor little dog....that was until a friend said have you tried a nail grinder. Well, having researched and compared we went for the Iredoon nail grinder. It was by all accounts the quietest on the market and although some had multi speed options, this seemed pointless and three speeds would be plenty of options. We haven't yet charged the grinder after three trims, in fact it is still over 50%. It has worked a treat, our little dog will now just sit there while I lift her paws and file her nails back. We are so pleased we went for this grinder.

Compared to other electrical nail grinders we've tested this is by far the most effective one. Have not even dared to use 3rd speed yet... Strong, good battery performance and overall easy to use. Have The led-light is a plus but not a must. Highly recommended.

Sehr guter Krallenschleifer. Auch geeignet für kleine Hunde. Krallen lassen sich auf niedriger Stufe gut abschleifen. Super einfach und Präzise und zudem sehr leise. Das Licht erleichtert die Arbeit. Bei sehr dunklen Krallen ist es etwas schwierig aber machbar. Sehr tolles Produkt, kann ich nur weiterempfehlen

Bought a replacement for another brand that quit. Works great on thick St. Bernard claws. Has 4 lights around grinder, not just 2. This greatly eases use! This one works so well, I just bought another for our cabin. Is also fairly quiet.
