Infantino Mighty Mill Food Press

this food mesher is ok for mashing banana's etc, but not good enough for cooked food. for example, pasta just didnt get mashed or pureed, just battered.ive decided im happy with a hand blender instead.its a shame because i really wanted this to work..... instead i just have sore wrists from twisting the food masher so much.

I bought this as my daughter hasn't got any teeth yet but I was keen for her to be able to eat what we were eating and better still that we could be out and about and still able to get her food ready. This is very poor, it does not get the food to the right texture or consistency as it just gets stuck on the grater bit. Please don't waste your money!

This food mill was conceptually such a great idea but turned out to be quite a disappointment. I was looking for an alternative to blending and fork mashing when i came across this product. Instead of getting well ground baby food, what rises to the top is only juice/steaming water. The pieces of foods just packs up tightly at the bottom. It worked somewhat with foods that mash easily and in very small amounts such as very well cooked carrots, potato, parsnips but it does not grind through pears, strawberries and even well cooked apples. I will have to stick to my hand-blender and fork mashing for now. It was a good idea though - wish it worked better.
