I love Four Leaf Rover products. They are always top notch and worked well for my dog, but the "allergies" were a constant battle, requiring four rounds of anti-fungals and anti-biotics over 18 months. I was told by one board certified dermatologist, a holistic vet, and two regular vets that the problem was allergies, and they all recommended Apoquel and Cytopoint. I suspected a leaky gut, so I gave my dog probiotics, kifer, bone broth, yogurt, etc. It wasn't enough. When I did a Gut Biome test, there was a problem where some bacteria was absent and some were overgrown. I gave my dog fecal transplant pills, and his hotspots and yeast disappeared, and now his hair is coming in thick and full. He even seems happier...waking up every morning with a big smile and spring in his step.

I learned of this supplement from Layla the Boxer's mom. My Cairn has seasonal skin allergies that cause him to scratch and lick incessantly. He is a very picky eater and this product is easy to sprinkle over his food. It must not have much taste, or a disgusting one, because he eats without hesitation. It is very effective and usually calms his scratching/licking in a couple days and ends it in about a week. I only use the product as needed and have ordered it twice in as many years (I think).. I feel it is a good value and keeps him off prescription or OTC allergy medication.

We'll see how this works once the weather warms up but for now, I do think this took the edge off and kept me from having to give my dog daily Apoquel during this past winter. I'm not sure that he loves the taste (it's very green smelling) but if I mix it in with a topper for his kibble he eats fine. My other dog with MCT's wasn't affected by this (good or bad) but since it didn't seem to make a difference for her, I stopped adding it to her food. It certainly lasts longer when only given to one dog! Pricey but overall not a bad product to trial and see if it works for yours.

Seems to be helping with the seasonal allergies

When I opened this the after seal was half open. There’s no seal on the outside so I do not feel comfortable giving to my dog. When I reached out to the company they did not seem concerned. I’ll leave their reply below. Thank you so much for reaching out! Occasionally, the safety seal can get partially caught in the ridges of the lid as the lid is being unscrewed. This can cause the seal to appear partially opened, but it is a normal occurrence and nothing to be concerned about.
