I've had the Slicer for a week and used it twice. This is what I learned: If you are cutting fresh meat its best to partially freeze it maybe 1 - 2 hours. It's not difficult to clean, remove the blade and the arm (wash in soapy water). There is less mess if the meat is partially frozen. I think if its too frozen you will work the Slicer to hard. The suction worked fine i placed it on a large bew cookie sheet to catch the meat. The motor is not too loud and the speed and size are perfect and not intimidating at all. I sliced a brisket & pork belly very thin for pho and hot pot the blades are sharp and work well. By using the instructions and my simple ideas this Slicer will last a long time. Also you can easily change the blade in a matter of minutes. Enjoy this affordable slicer.

This has been a very high quality slicer so far. I've had it for a few weeks and use it mostly for cheese, meat, and bread; it's handled them flawlessly. First, this is a VERY quiet machine, and it sticks solidly to my countertop with its suction-cup feet. The thickness adjustment knob is on the back, off to the left side, so it's easy to get to but not in my way at all. The cord is also a decent length, a HUGE plus since most machines nowadays have wussy 2' cords. I tried all widths of slices with soft and hard cheeses, and it doesn't matter...they all slice perfectly from beginning to end, and I even sliced some extra sharp cheddar so thin that I could literally read a magazine article's printing through the cheese. (This is extremely handy, btw, for putting a thin cheese topper on baked snacks...just enough cheese to taste w/o overpowering my cracker toppings.) Lastly, there's no assembly...just clean it with a quick wipe-down and use. (There are a pair of blade protectors that need to be removed first, btw, but those are just there to protect the blade during shipping.) Also, cleaning's a breeze...even the blade has a nice little tab that rotates a little, unlocking the blade, and is super easy to put back when dried.

This unit weighs less than half of my old unit. The blade spins much slower than my old slicer but has much more torque. This slicer does a great job with bread and surprisingly good a slicing block cheese. Cleanup is a breeze. The blade lock is a bit stubborn but locks properly after a bit of fiddling. After several uses, I am less impressed. The suction cups do not hold on to the counter as well as the old one or my hand crank slicer. Meats somehow find a way behind the blade in the gear compartment. This makes cleanup more involved. But, it still slices nicely and I can easily carry it.

Great value for the money, if you’re in need of a slicer at home. The variable thickness is easy to use and blade is very sharp. I used multiple times for slicing meat, canning peppers, and vegetables for salads. Worked perfectly and was easy to clean and store.

Very good slicer and works well for raw meet slicing and also cheese. Sharp blade, works smoothly and quite too.

What a fabulous slicer. It is so much better than my 15 year old plastic one. It is also designed to make it so easy to clean after use. It will slice so thin that shaved meats are a treat, and I regularly make Philly Cheese Steaks out of rib eye. It easily slices cheese for a cheese plate without having to put the cheese into the freezer.

For the price it’s great. Works great with my meat bulk I buy for the family.

I was pleasantly surprised with how good this was. We used it to slice an 18 pound whole corned beef that we cooked the day before and refrigerated overnight. In years past I used an electric knife to carve it but was always disappointed in how long it took having to give the knife a break so it wouldn’t overheat. Also, the thickness of slices would vary so much that it seemed like we got far less out of the piece of meat. It was easy to use, cleaned up easily and was much quicker. I highly recommend. It’s certainly not the kind of slicer you’ll see in a butcher shop but for home use, it’s perfect.

Muy buen producto, lo compré con dudas por el precio en comparación con otras cortadoras (pan de masa madre ) y e tenido una muy grata sorpresa en su funcionamiento. También compré las de plástico para cortar con cuchillo y solo las usé un par de veces; ya están abandonadas.
