A Welcome Kitchen Helper
I’ve been checking out mini processors for a good while and was befuddled by the vast variety to choose from. But recently I was watching a cooking demo on the internet and the presenter was using the Syvio without trying to promote the brand. In fact, I had go frame-to-frame to ID it. It has turned out to be a very welcome addition to my kitchen. It comes with two bowls, glass and stainless, for various tasks that large standard processors weren’t designed to do. The motor is quite powerful and the blades for each bowl are super sharp - take care when handling them. I wasn’t quite sure what I was going to use this processor for and in the few days that I have it have chopped garlic, minced beef for hamburger and prepared guacamole. With ‘pulsing’ each task was done perfectly - exactly to the texture I wanted - and did it in seconds. Clean up was a breeze with the bowls and blades going into the dishwasher. For what you get the price is a veritable bargain and it will take the drudgery out many prep jobs.

Quality food processor - works great!
Bought this n 2023. Sturdy, never fails. Very well built; the double blade chops with ease - just a few pulses. Used every week to chop chicken (cooked) for my dogs. Highly recommend this product for its quality build.

Stop- THIS is the one you want!!!!
Ok ... I purchased this on August 3, 2022. I waited until now bc I wanted to give an honest review and I was skeptical if this gadget would hold up. Well it did and SURPASSED my expectations!!!! I originally bought this to make my furbaby his own food, but it's come in handy for cooking for my human family too 😋! This baby is powerful!!! I'm talking shredding sweet potatoes in mere seconds!!!! Anyone who cooks knows how dense sweet potatoes are! This thing cuts em like no bodies business!! I also ground flax seeds, nuts, carrots, celery, well any veggies or fruits, no problem!! But wait there's more... it's amazing for shredded meat too!! Yes, that's right, no more tearing up pieces of meatfor chicken salad. Just rip large pieces of chicken in the bowl use the lower setting and in under 5 secs you have perfectly shredded chicken! Oh, but you like larger pieces???? No problem!! You can control the blades and just pulse them until you've got your desired size. Isn't that awesome?? I'm not even to my most favorite part!!! I hate dishes. Seriously *HATE*!!! This gadget literally takes me MINUTES to clean!!! Once I'm done. It only takes spraying the residue of the bowl with my sprayer, then a spray of Dawn powerspray (not sponsored but hey Dawn email me😉 ), a wipe around with your washcloth/ sponge/what-have-you, a final rinse and Bam, you're done baby!! Even if you towel dry, its clean dry and put away in under 5 minutes!!! Seriously, if I could only give one product 5 stars, it would be this! The blades are still sharp after being used multiple times a week since last August, there's 2 sizes of bowls, one glass, one stainless, two sets of blades that coralate to bowl size (oh and they twist on/ off for easy cleaning- "yeah baby"-Austin Power accent used), and this thing is so powerful!! There are two settings (I and II). Use I for softer items and use II for harder/ denser items like sweet potatoes, nuts, or bones. NOTHING I've cut has taken more than 30 seconds and even then almost all of it doesn't even come close to that. It's quick, easy, efficient, and a sinch to clean!! What are you waiting for... buy now!!! But wait for the next 30 mins.... wait, no, I'm getting carried away I can't offer any deals, but it's already priced cheap for how well it's made and performs... just click the buy now. You won't be sorry- and if you are- hey its Amazon just take it to Kohls and return it for a free 25% off most stuff in their store!! Win/Win Baby!!! *I was not paid for this-obvi, I waited 8 months b4 i even reviewed it... if it sounds like I did that's just me being... well me. I have pix but for sum reason Amazon isn't letting me post them... I'll try later...maybe 😄 )

Confusing instructions but works well.
First of all, I bought this chopper to chop chicken that we mix with our dogs’ dry kibble. We are in dog rescue and we have a couple of old finicky dogs who refuse to eat dog food by itself. Not even canned! Once I started adding chicken I created monsters but it actually turns out to be less expansive than good quality canned food. Anyway, the item was packed well but I think it may have been returned. There was a silicone ring that didn’t fit either bowl and it was cut. Do we even need the rings? The video doesn’t show rings inside the bowls while in use. So not sure what that was for. Also the listed numbered parts had number 8 as a “coaster”? So not sure what that is but I definitely don’t have a separate piece to put under the bowls. That being said, I was ready to return it but then I decided to give it a try. A put two cut up large chicken thighs in the glass bowl and turned it on. Not even five seconds and it was chopped nicely. It cleaned up easily and I will see how it does the next few times I need it. I rated it four stars because of the confusing instructions, broken ring, and maybe a missing part.

A Dog's Tale
My husband and I have a soft spot for hounds, especially older dogs and we always adopt rescues. We know we don't get to keep them as long as we would if we got a puppy, but we just feel our work is to give these older often overlooked dogs a comfortable final chapter, filled with lots of love. I have made dog food for our dogs for the past several years, although I supplement with Dr. Gary's Best Breed dry dog food because there are some trace ingredients that I cannot source economically. Dr. Gary's was recommended to me by a woman who shows coonhounds in working classes and is as picky as I am about her dog's diet. Four years ago we rescued a seven year old black and tan coonhound who was abandoned by a breeder when she was no longer of use. Her name is Juniper; she is a sweet little girl who was afraid of everything and is now living a happy life as a family pet, playing and treeing squirrels in our backyard and coming inside for naps and pats whenever she wants. She has an 8 year old "brother", a red tick coonhound/pit mix we rescued two years ago. Juniper was recently diagnosed with kidney disease and my vet prescribed Hill's kidney diet in the can. I am feeding half Hill's and half my own food (my choice and he was fine with it). I always make a lean beef or chicken based food, however, chicken is a better choice for Juniper due to the lower fat content. One of the problems for dogs with renal disease is that digesting dry food can put a strain on their kidneys. So, I decided to grind my chicken based food with some dry kibble, adding chicken broth for moisture. I have a food processor that would do the job but it's a pain to clean. I also have a Vitamix that would certainly do the job but I could also easily wind up with dog food paste. So, I started looking for a food grinder and came across the Syvio. I read all the reviews and decided to give it a try. For the price, even if it was a dud, it wouldn't break the bank. I LOVE this machine. It was very easy to assemble and it ground up my cooked chicken, vegetables and kibble quickly and QUIETLY (compared to a food processor or blender). For those reviewers that said it could not chop meat, check out my picture. It had no problem chopping chicken breasts that I just broke up into chunks to fit in the bowl. (I normally would feed the food in chunks.) It also ground the veggies into tiny pieces and incorporated them so that my red tick will not be able to avoid the green beans. I wound up with food the consistency of deli ham salad, which is perfect...and in less than a minute. I will probably use this instead of my food processor from now on for pimento cheese or other party spreads (and ham salad). The blades are very sharp so make sure you retain the blade guards and put them back on the blades when not using the grinder. I could not be happier with this little grinder.
