Polly Pocket The Addams Family Collector Playset

I got this as a gift for myself, after reading the reviews, because I am a longtime fan of "the Addams Family" - both Charles Addams cartoons, the 1960's TV show, and the films. While I am not a huge fan of the figures, which I assume are based on the animated show, I liked the idea of a tiny "toy" version and this does not disappoint. As other buyers have mentioned, this is a cute, charming playset but not for small children. The down sides, as others have mentioned, are: 1) it is very difficult to get the package open, 2) in particular "Thing" is so tiny that it is extremely hard to remove from the packaging and also easy to lose. I knew all that when I received the set, and I have worked with small scale miniatures before so I had craft pliers and an exacto knife ready, and it was still a challenge. I wound up using a drop of super glue and just gluing Thing on the piano. Even with those challenges, and even though I think it's overpriced, I am still happy I got it.

Very cool for collectors. So tiny, detailed, and high quality. For people intending to play with the set, the pieces are very very very tiny. If you are a collector and intend to preserve the packaging, you can’t remove the item without destroying the packaging… it’s very securely packaged (which I appreciated!).

Love it! I was not sure by pictures if the hologram was on the locket. It is. I put it up by my television set and when I walked past from across the room, I can see it change. I really hope they come out with another one if they haven’t already with other characters from the Addams family.

Impressive representation for a true fan. Very fun and nostalgic. Impressed with the extra details on the box. Great gift.

Not sure if today's Polly Pocket kids are familiar with the Addams Family, but whether they are or not, it's an adorable gift for anyone who loves miniatures or collects similar toys! Even the packaging caters to people who may want to save it or display it in their room! The toy itself is well made and does not have any paint mistakes in the coloring of the model and the dolls. It is still delicate as a compact product, though, so do not play rough with it or put it anywhere it's at risk of falling.

Amazing set. Not Polly's fault what happened. If I found this on time, I might still have my "Morticia". Still lost my wife.

Nice figures but very expensive for what you get and it's hard for my 5 year old daughter to stand the figures in the playset as they bend and are very fiddly
