Check with you isp (aginet/deco/archer) all different and don't talk to each other
Bought this to make a Mesh wifi system to boost the signal strength upstairs and eliminate black spots. The product is of good quality and as its tplink I thought it would work with the router provided by my ISP (ConnectFibre) they use a tplink BE610 (BE65). I tried everything to get them to connect but gave up, I spoke to the technical helpline with the ISP and turned out although this BE25 looks like the option provided as an extra by them it isn't actually compatible with the BE610 as connect fibres router uses Aginet for its app and software installed and is different to products available on the high street that use Deco. I had to return the BE25 to amazon for a refund as it was never going to work, managed to find the correct version at an online retailer the HB210 (Its exactly the same as the BE25 but has Aginet Firmware) the router found it right away.

A cut (or many) above your ISP networking gear
As an EE customer suffering frequent price increases I was looking for a way to switch ISP yearly without the pain of setting up all devices on the new equipment. I also stream music from my NAS to 4 BluOS nodes across the house and wanted to be in a position to do this without the need for internet access so that when a failure occurs, my entertainment carries on. The TP-Link set of 3 nodes does exactly that. Separates the wi-fi as a separate function from the internet meaning you run and own your own network. Swapping out routers from different ISP's is now painless as you do not have to reconnect all devices with new passwords etc. The app is fantastic, set-up a breeze, took literally 5 mins to set up all the nodes and start connecting the devices to it. Tested music playback and whether BluOS would function without internet signal by pulling out the cable, flawless. You literally spent more time thinking about where to put the nodes than set up itself. Signal is strong and the range is huge. I tested this by walking out of the house with my phone up the road to check at what point I could no longer control my BluOS nodes, distance was over 100m. Very impressive. Another nice feature is the two ethernet ports on each node to connect devices that have ethernet ports. This removes wi-fi chatter and provides an even more stable connection whilst not consuming bandwidth. Basically the nodes do the heavy lifting where as your devices wi-fi is no longer broadcasting through potentially poorly implemented wi-fi components. In short, fantastic app, great signal and liberation from ISP's who know it's a pain to switch so they continue to jack up the price.

Strange
App was strange. Couldn't set up a VPN connection. Returned it.

Good mesh network units. Easy to set up via the deco app
I've used TP link powerline adapters for a while now. I bought the TP link BE65 router as I wanted to set up a mesh network. The BE65 router is very easy to set up via the app ( I set it up in access point mode). Reading reviews before I bought it, I thought that 2 units will cover my entire house. I was wrong. I have a new built one storey house (ground floor and first floor)... Don't know if my walls are particularly difficult to get through (cement floors) but the signal dropped to less than half in the room just above the ground floor room where the router was located. The adjacent bedroom on the same side of the house (top floor) got next to no signal. I've deducted one star (for the BE65 router) for this because the wifi 6 modem/router combo the ISP sent had the same coverage and it is half the price of the BE65 unit! To cut a long story short I ended up getting 3 of the BE25 units and created a mess network with the BE65 unit.. All well now and the units were very easy to set up via the app.
