G.H. Cretors Popcorn, The Mix, 7.5-Ounce Bags (Pack of 12)

The best popcorn snack- yum. The only better is my own makings. A bit expensive @ ($2.00/oz) but a great packaged quantity of 12 at 75 oz each.. which is a great individual snack size- careful, you'll eat one bag after another all day long- so get 'em wrapped for Christmas presents before you eat them all- like I did, having to buy more.

Cretors popcorn is by far the best out there. They have big, fluffy corn and no culls in the bag. Highly recommend

We first discovered this product locally (in the "The Mix" flavor). OH MY. Note: I haven't had their Kettle Corn. SO, this review is for "The Mix" specifically purchased in "smaller bags", not one Large. Off we go! 1. Flavor: It's an interesting, weird, addictive mix of caramel & cheese popcorn. At first I worked hard to separate - not eat together: I don't eat cheese on my caramel. Yet this works. When you reach the "hey this is good interesting" stage, I recommend finding ways to pace. 2. Bag size: SMALLISH. You can buy this in a one really large bag - or several that seem small. The smaller ones are not "one serving per bag" so consider sharing during home movies - or finding a great bag clip. Hey: home movies need interesting home movie snacks! 3. Subscribe & Save: as of this review, this product IS included. S & S is a WONDERFUL way to save - and also pace orders such as snacks, etc. I love using it in general but especially with this product! Negatives? You can reach burnout and still crave more - for me, that's all popcorn! The box of "smaller" bags are shipped with no additional padding. HOWEVER, per bag in three shipments, very few crushed pieces were found. I guess popcorn protects - popcorn! SUMMARY: Try it. Share it. I'm REALLY picky about food yet found this flavor combo enjoyable. You'll know which bag size is right - and what flavor.

Believe it or not, I've ordered 2 cases of 12 bags of this popcorn in the last 2 months. The first was a gift for my dad, who loves cheddar/caramel popcorn mixes. I gave it to him and then came back for a visit 2 weeks later. Almost all of the 12 bags were gone - that's how good this is. The second case was for myself. It will take me a while to finish it, but it's good enough that I didn't mind being forced to buy in such a large quantity in order to get it. The per-bag price is better than what I've paid for it at Whole Foods, too. If you've ever purchased cheddar popcorn at a grocery store, you've probably gotten popcorn that tasted mostly like popcorn but with a little bit of cheese flavor. This popcorn is not like that. The cheesy pieces are extremely cheesy, and the caramel pieces are completely coated. If you're trying to be conscious of calories, definitely pre-measure the popcorn before you start eating, because it's really easy to eat a lot without noticing. The bag says 140 calories in a serving, but if you measure out "one serving", you'll find it's smaller than what most people would eat, especially if they're eating straight from the open bag. Overall, though, I highly recommend this popcorn if you don't mind eating something that's not exactly healthy.
