6V 4.5Ah LiFePO4 Battery, 2000 Times Deep Cycles, 2 Pack

An alternative 6v 4.5a battery replacement for kids power cars. They may cost a few dollars more but seem to perform with equal power and hold a charge as long as lead acid batteries. You can buy a special Lifepo4 6v charger rated at 7.4v, but it might not have the right connector. Monitor the charging voltage. The 6v 1 amp charger that came with my car worked just fine. Comes with an english readable manual.

I use these for remote game and security cameras. The batteries have to be recharged indoors during extreme cold weather in Michigan though. But they can be left out for longer periods between charges when using them on a game camera. I trickle charge mine on a bench top power supply at 500 mA to extend the life of the batteries. I also do not charge them up to their max voltage and do not discharge to the max discharge voltage. All of this extends the life of the batteries considerably. These are convenient and light weight. I have used many lead acid batteries for this purpose and they all fail in a year or so due to the long times between charging. Lead acid prefers to be charged and kept charged at all times. Lithium is way better for game cameras because it can sit happily under slow discharge over a longer period.

I ordered the 4.5ah, 6 volt LiFePO4 batteries by SPARKOLE to replace the batteries in two of my emergency lighting fixtures in one of my apartment buildings. They performed flawlessly, and were very easy to replace. Now my hallways are significantly brighter and the light lasts much longer. They function like new again! I purchased these batteries to refurbish some old bike lights. They weigh a lot less than the old SLA batteries. No problem charging them or getting them connected. A+ product.

One battery was reading 6V on my meter, and the other was stone dead

Accidentally reversed the terminals on charging - battery then showed 0 volts. replaced with another and assumed it was a loss. tested the battery next day and now its working again - timed fuse? strange protection circuit behaviour that is not disclosed - i bet plenty of people throw these out despite being perfectly good.

I replaced the battery in my kids scooter. And It’s working perfectly.
