I love the case but not a fan of the holster.

I got this case for my new iPhone 16 Pro when it had 0 reviews, but I’ve had pelican products before and know the quality. This case didn’t disappoint.I have been using Otterbox Commuter or Symmetry cases on my iPhones for the past 10 or so years. While I like the Otterbox cases, they left more to be desired. This Pelican case has an outer band on the back that raises the whole phone off the table so it doesn’t wobble back and forth on a table when laying camera side down like the otterboxes do. This has a trade off though because the Pelican is thicker because of this. I like it though that my phone doesn’t teeter totter when sitting on a table now. Also the Pelican case seems like it’s grippier than the Otterbox cases.Overall a good case despite the thickness.

Bought this case to replace an Otterbox Commuter for my iPhone 16 pro. I've been an Otterbox fan for years but as others have commented, Otterbox decided to cut a large swath near the camera button that had me concerned. Never had a Pelican phone case and decided to take a chance on the Voyager. This case is incredibly solid with a build quality that to me suggests that the case might outlive the phone (I keep my phones for a long time) Not cheap but neither is an iPhone 16 pro and this case feels like it could stand just about any sort of abuse without being too bulky, the belt clip is also extremely solid. Highly recommended!

I have happily used Pelican products as a commercial photographer since 1990. I have never been so disappointed by a pelican product.I got a new iPhone 16 Pro after years of limping along my old iPhone 7. I am apparently one of the dinosaurs who still wants a good belt clip to secure my phone for all the outdoor work I do.I bought the Pelican because it is apparently one of the few cases that still ships with a belt clip. The instructions for the case were wrong. The case doesn’t not separate into two parts. The belt clip was not secure on my belt. The phone has popped off of the clip more times in the few weeks I have had it than all the years that I had my old phone in an Otterbox.I selected the Pelican because its case worked better with the MagSafe mount I have for my car.After weeks of frustration, the clip completely broke today with the entire belt clip separating from the phone holder.Time wasted. Time to find a better product.

I’m not someone who writes many reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with this case. When I was searching for a case for my iPhone 16 Pro, I noticed there weren’t many good options. A lot of the newer cases had a cutout for the new camera button, which left part of the phone’s side exposed.This is my first Pelican phone case, and I’m really impressed. Not only is the quality excellent, but they’ve designed the case so you can easily access the side button without leaving any part of the phone exposed.I’ve been using Otterboxes since the iPhone 5, but this case looks, feels, and fits better than any Otterbox I’ve owned. 10/10, I would recommend it over any other option.

I got the Pelican protector case and I actually really like it. I usually use Otterbox but their cases for the iPhone 16 Pro do not protect the whole phone screen so I had to find a different but reliable brand. I love how this case protects the camera lenses and the camera button.

I bought this case mistakenly assuming it was the same type as my old case from Pelican with the same features and quality. It certainly looked the same as my previous Shield Case at first glance, and was about the same price. Guess I should have looked closer. This case is much thinner, far less protective, and just not as well built. A thin plastic insert holds the phone whereas the other model was a secure two-piece hard shell with secure snaps. The old version has silicone non-slip edges top and bottom for grip, shock absorption, and keeping the phone from slipping. This case is semirigid plastic with very little “padding” for impact or slip resistance.Overall, for the price point I would absolutely suggest that there are better cases, and cheaper cases that will do the same or better job of protecting your expensive phone.No, I do not recommend this case, nor would I buy it again.
