Makes my camera look more professional and more durable. I love it!
This is a great product! I'm not even going to take a star away because they neglected to give me the tool that I needed to put it on my camera. Just in case you don't get one either, all you need is a 1/8'' Allan wrench, or possibly a small screwdriver like for working on eyeglasses. BUT, here's how to do it to be safe and not lose a screw. Wow, they are tiny.First, safe working area like the kitchen table with a white pillowcase. Start by opening up the pillowcase and spreading it out to lay the camera on. At each end of the cage that you are putting on your camera, where the strap holes are you will find a small screw on each side. Loosen the screws. Do not remove the screws! But do take them over halfway out on each side to loosen the strap slot. This is what holds the camera in place on the cage. If you have a hard time slipping the cage onto the camera, loosen the screws more. (Another 1/2 turn until it goes on smoothly.)Once it slides all the way in place, look carefully that the pieces of metal that you just loosened go in the slots of YOUR CAMERA where the strap goes. It's okay to tighten one all the way down, then the other on the opposite side. Once you have completed these steps turn the camera over and tighten the screw on the bottom of the camera to lock it into place. Make sure the screw on the bottom goes straight into the hole on the camera and not cross-threaded. There you have it. Good job! That's the ease of installation. And it has a very comfortable grip

Love it but one major problem
One of the reasons I bought this is it can lock your HDMI cable into place and those are known for sometimes breaking because they wiggle all over the place and this case has a contraption to prevent that from happening but when you fold the screen out or open the screen it actually hits against the screen and you could probably break your screen or crack it pretty easily if you're not careful now maybe if you had a micro HDMI cable that wasn't as thick that might not happen but with mine it does and you can actually see that in one of the photos I posted. Now my camera just stays on the tripod in my studio so it's not a big deal but you got to be careful with that if you're out and about and your screen is hitting against the locking mechanism for the HDMI cable. Besides that this is excellent and it's a very very very nice high quality cage,, it did take me a minute to figure out how to put the camera into this because I want to slip the camera in there and it wouldn't go in turns out on the very top of the cage you're going to need a allen wrench to unloosen those little Allen screws after you do that you push the camera into the cage you tighten those Ellen screws down on the top and it basically has some little prongs that fit down inside of the camera strap holder to keep it in place which is a really cool design but you will need a allen wrench in order to loosen those, it does not come with oneBut bottom line is the cage is awesome, it's not my first small rib cage but you got to be very careful with the screen and you will need a tool to install it, now the locking mechanism is removable so if it's hitting your screen and you don't want to use it you can always take that off but that may be an issue for a couple of people but I must say I really like the cage if it wasn't quite for that. The cage fits the camera pretty much perfectly, the grip feels great in your hand if you're using it for that, sometimes I may pull this thing off of my tripod and move it to another tripod in a different part of the room and usually I just leave all the cables attached and that's why I wanted the locking mechanism just so I don't yank a cable out of there or do something and cause it to break so this cage will prevent my HDMI port in the camera from wearing out or breaking so even though there's a pretty big flaw or con I'm still going to keep the cage and be happy with it as for my uses it's not really going to cause me a problem

Best cage for the money!
Probably one of the most beautiful looking camera cages there's is. Small rigs quality even down to the packaging is amazing. Comes with a magnetic tool that you can use for tightening attachments. Super easy installation. I love the battery gate to open to switch out batteries fast. And of course you can attach many things to transform your camera to a cinema rig.

Great product
Only complaint: it is not black. The color is silver and I did not see that anywhere in the description. Other than that, it is a great accessory for your camera. A must have accessory.
