Makes adding secure holes to fabric belts easy
This eyelet maker comes with everything needed to punch and attach eyelets. I have used it to make additional holes in fabric belts, and it was very easy to use. It comes with a really convenient bag to store it all away when you are done.

This is not a everyday use tool but very handy when you need one. Comprehensive and efficient toolset for anyone working with fabrics, tarpaulins, banners etc. Designed for both hobbyists and professionals. Kit comes with 500 high quality eyelets. Sturdy and easy to use.Used this several times and find this very handy. Overall a good quality tool and reasonably priced.

Works well, but could do with clearer instructions
These are quite large eyelets, which I think makes them particularly useful. The punch thing is really strong and sturdy, I don't think that will break easily. I used it to put an eyelet on the flap thing of my handbag so that I could fasten my keys to my bag so I'm not rooting around for them when I get home in the rain. Most of my other handbags have a dedicated place to hook my keys and I've really missed that with this handbag. The fabric of my handbag is quite thick and because of the position, I couldn't use the punch thing with a hammer, so we used one eyelet set, then cut out the fabric where it had partially cut through, and then used a fresh eyelet set. Hubby did it for me as I struggle with my hands sometimes. I popped a carabiner through the hole and can now clip my keys to the carabiner and keep them inside when I zip my bag closed. I'm really pleased with the results.I think that the set is strong, but the instructions should be a lot clearer. It tells me to put the washer on one side and the grommet on the other side without actually telling me which is which. It's not clear when the eyelet is done, there is no satisfying click into place, so we weren't sure when it was done. There are silver and gold coloured eyelets and the gold matches perfectly with the hardware on my handbag, it looks like it came that way.

So useful and great quality
The media could not be loaded. I got this eyelet punch kit for some DIY projects, and I have to say it really makes the process a breeze. The kit includes around 500 eyelets and a fairly sturdy eyelet pliers. It is incredibly handy for anyone diving into projects with fabrics and tarpaulins. The magnetic top on the pliers keeps the eyelet in place helping to ensure alignment every time. The handles of the pliers feel comfortable enough to work through a good number of eyelets without tiring. The copper eyelets are durable and rust-resistant, and they provide a professional touch to the work. This kit is a must-have for crafters. It genuinely exceeded my expectations and is fun to use. If you're into DIY projects, this kit is definitely worth the investment. In time, I can see my wife asking me to stop putting eyelets in everything. Ooh, what projects can I come up with for this?

Heavy duty
This is a really tough, heavy duty eyelet punch. It comes with a separate hole punch and loads of eyelets. Suitable for tarps/canvases as well as larger leather projects. The build and supplies included should be enough to last a lifetime!

Works well
A good 10mm eyelet kit in a nice storage box.You get 500 eyelets, so should last a while. The eyelet tool is well made, fairly weighty, and seems to be good quality.A decent set for £29.99 at the time of reviewing.Comes with a manual punch included, for more heavy duty applications.Tested on denim and it worked well.

OK for lighter materials
I got one of these from another brand a few months ago for eyeleting small (under 1m) and lightweight (440gsm) vinyl banners. This is the one:https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0CDVYMQQ5I got this Durofort Kit (for free, courtesy of Amazon Vine) so that on busier days I can get someone to give me a bit of help.At first glance it looks like it's a better kit. It comes in a nice case (the one linked above is in a cardboard box) and also includes double the number of grommets and eyelets. So far so good.It was only when I came to actually use it that I realised it is quite inferior to the above linked punch. It cannot punch through the vinyl. There is a manual punch tool included which I assumed would be for heavy weight materials such as leather, but nope, it seems that with this you need to pre-punch even lightweight vinyl which just adds more time onto the given task.Another thing about this kit is that the eyelets are not rounded on the edges; after crimping the grommet and eyelet into the pre-punched hole, the eyelet on the back side presents quite a sharp edge, so if this was to be used for a tent flysheet or similar item that will be stressed by the wind, I expect it would wear through fairly quickly.I would recommend the one linked above over this. It punches though vinyl with ease and even thicker materials. Just before I sat down to write this I used it to punch an eyelet into an oven mitt that had a missing hanging loop. It was not the cleanest cut but it did the job. You won't get the case but you will get a better tool.

Effective!
If you need to punch a hole into something flat, this is your tool. It's simple to use, and can punch eyelets into most thin materials, but there's also a tool supplied if you have something thicker that needs more force. And it comes in a nice bag to keep everything together too.I did check out other similar punch kits, and this appears to be a generic design that's received rave reviews across the board, so really it comes down to price being the differentiating factor.

Decent tool, alright eyelets
This kit is pretty impressive. The tool is well made, solid, and works well. The handles are decent in terms of ergonomics and while the shape doesn't help enormously to provide better leverage, it this shape does pack down a little smaller so it's okay. Not to mention, the rubber grips are well padded at least. But most importantly the tool manages to fully squish the eyelets down, and the magnetic tips really make it easy to place the eyelet parts and set up in peace. Now the con of this kit is the eyelet themselves. The material isn't quite ductile enough so unfortunately 100% of the eyelets crimped will end up cracking. There strength of the eyelet isn't very badly affected but it does affect its usability, as it now can have some sharp edges that can damage ropes passed through, or even the material itself. Thankfully you would be able to find other eyelets to replace the included ones, though depending on the type of material you get (for instance stainless steel) then you wouldn't be able to use the magnetic hold of the crimper tool itself.Overall, it's still a pretty good set, and most importantly the included tool is quite good. Still very useful as long as you don't need the eyelets to weather outdoors (per the instruction manual, they can rust) nor be attached to ropes that need to move around in the eyelet.
