Also you will have to file your nut - are you sure you want to do this, especially if you only have one guitar like me? Just a warning, especially for "heavier gauge strings for heavier songs", which might not be true, perhaps some 10s would suffice. They will work on most guitars, provided they are the proper scale length. The high e is prone to snapping without much effort. Mine snapped after 2 weeks of regular use whilst loosening them up for guitar maintenance.
