great product - great price
This is a very good fly line. As a certified fly casting instructor, I am always asked what kind of fly line should be used. There are great fly lines from well known manufactures and may be worth the $100 to $140 that they cost. This line is very good, period. I was skeptical of it, but I could afford the risk and bought a 6wt line.I first took the line out and did a number of measurements to see if was truly a 6wt and what kind of WF line it was. I then fished with it for 4 days straight. I also tested the line for ability to cast, flexibility (no coiling), durability.I was able to cast the line 75 feet using a 5wt rod with no problem at all. I got a max distance of 85 feet. Accuracy was measured by running it through my standard course of target cones. There was no perceptible difference between it and a $130 line of the same weight. I stuck the line and reel in the freezer for a couple of hours and there was no issue with casting due to memory coiling.I have also been practicing with it daily for a few weeks and it shows no signs of wear. As far as I am concerned this is a very good line and am planning on buying more of them.

Good value fly line
Must say for the price compared to more “recognized” brands…..I.e way more expensive….lol, this line seems to be of good quality. Haven’t put it thru the wringer yet, only fished it about 5 or 6 times so far. What I found is that using this 2wt on my 0/1wt rod it cast pretty good. The rod of course is ultralight and only 6’1” long 4pc. Using in 45 degree temps it stayed flexible with no memory/coiling issues. Has good flotation, shoots the guides pretty good and offers good line control. Yes it’s new and that’s not that cold yet, but other lines on different set ups were stiffer with a little coil memory present. Also as norm this time of year it got pretty windy, and being such a light rod I still was able to cast with good loop formation and accuracy. Well much better then I expected…….we will see if time on water shows that this will continue to be the norm for it. I’ll update latter as to my finding when it’s been abused some…….for now I’d say not the performance of $100 plus lines but way more bang for the buck price considered. Will use again for a basic set up……..

Nice and limber.
This is a pretty good line for the money. Nice and limber and easy to work with. Haven't had a chance to cast this yet, but can't wait. First impression is really good.

Good, cheap line
This is a fairly decent line for the price. I bought a 5 wt. and two 6 wt. in orange. I've fished with the 5 wt. on a 5 wt. rod and it was okay, but I didn't catch a thing with it. Not blaming the line. I'll update the 6 wt. line after I fish with it on my new Eagle Claw Featherlight 8' 5/6 wt. fiberglass rod. You have to nail knot your backer to it, and it's got a loop on the leader end. It's not spooled so you have to take care unraveling it when you load it on your reel. Just go slow. I stretched it out good and re-spooled it before winding it on my reel.
