The router arrives well packaged in a presentable box, it includes the router, power supply, manual, and a basic Ethernet cable which isn’t the best, but has been working perfectly fine so far. The router itself is well-made and feels to be of decent quality. Setup was straight forward, and didn’t take me too long with my limited technical knowledge to get the device configured and setup. One thing worth making sure of, is that you make your Wi-Fi password different to the router password. For some reason, this router has the option to have them set the same, which means anyone with the Wi-Fi password could then configure the device if they wanted to. A feature I’ve not seen on any routers before, but for security reasons you’re better off keeping the passwords different. The device performs perfectly well, much better than my outdated router that cost twice as much as this one a few years ago. This one has the advantage of running Wi-Fi 6, which my previous didn’t, and it means I can now use my VR headset untethered and wireless, something I wasn’t able to do on my older one! And it works great, just as if I was using it wire-synced. Phone and laptop connections are perfectly fine too, without any dropouts or performance issues that I've noticed. Overall, it has been a positive upgrade for me. Price wise, I think the router is good value for what it is, and includes more settings than I would need, but are there if needed in the future. Another good product by Wavlink, I like it!

I got the AX6000 router because my old one just couldn't keep up with the demands of gaming and streaming in our household. With multiple devices online at the same time, I needed something more reliable, especially when it came to ping during intense gaming sessions. This router caught my eye for its impressive 6000 Mbps speed and dual-band WiFi 6 capability, which is something I'd been wanting for a while. Setting it up was straightforward enough. I wouldn’t call it a completely smooth process, but it didn’t take too long to get everything connected and running. The signal strength is solid throughout the house, even in areas where my old router struggled. I was impressed with the coverage it easily handled thick walls and multiple floors, which is something I had issues with before. The fact that it can work as a router, repeater, or access point is a great feature, as it makes the device more flexible for different setups. Gaming performance has been great so far. The 2.5Gbps WAN port is a real benefit, especially for gaming where lower latency makes a difference. I’ve noticed smoother performance overall with fewer disconnects or lag spikes. Even when streaming on several devices, the network holds up. I also appreciate the OpenVPN and WireGuard features, as I like to keep my connection secure, especially when gaming online. However, there are a few things that could be improved. The four gigabit LAN ports are decent, but I think they could have included at least one more, given the price range. It’s a bit limiting when you’ve got a few wired devices. The user interface is also a bit clunky. While it’s functional, it feels outdated and could definitely use a refresh to make navigating the settings easier. The parental controls are handy for limiting access for the younger ones in the house, and setting time restrictions is fairly simple. It’s a bit basic, though, so if you’re looking for advanced parental control features, you might be left wanting more. Overall, this router delivers where it matters most. It’s fast, reliable, and handles heavy network loads like gaming and streaming with ease. It could use a few tweaks, particularly with the user interface and LAN ports, but for the price and performance, it’s a solid choice for gamers or anyone with a busy household.

I purchased the WAVLINK AX6000 to improve my gaming and streaming experience at home, and I am extremely satisfied. The WiFi 6 speed is exceptional: with a speed of 6000 Mbps, I can surf, watch 4K videos and play online games without any lag or buffering. The signal is stable even in more distant areas of my apartment thanks to the 8 omnidirectional antennas, which cover every corner without problems. The Gigabit LAN ports and the 2.5Gbps WAN port offer flexible customization, perfect for those who, like me, have multiple devices to connect. In addition, the ability to configure a **Mesh WiFi** to cover the entire house is a fantastic addition: I no longer have to worry about losing the signal when I move from one room to another. One of the features that I appreciate the most is the support for advanced security protocols such as **OpenVPN** and **WireGuard**, which offer protection for home connections. It's reassuring to know that I can surf in complete safety thanks to WPA3 encryption. Finally, the installation was very easy thanks to the WavRouter app and the intuitive guide. I was able to configure everything in a few minutes without any problems. Parental control and quality of service (QoS) management are other useful features for those who want to have total control over their home network. Da quando ho attiva sulla mia linea una FTTH non ho mai testato un router diverso da quello fornito da TIM, che francamente posso dire si tratti di un buon router con ottime prestazioni pensato per la propria infrastruttura quindi in grado di lavorare nella situazione più congeniale e se non errò ha un costo di circa €250, il confronto con questo Wavlink dal costo decisamente inferiore, non proprietario e anche con delle dimensioni estremamente ridotte è stato interessante. DESCRIZIONE Appena lo si ha fra le mani, la prima cosa che balza all’occhio sono sicuramente le 8 antennone orientabili poco estetiche ma altrettanto funzionali, strutturalmente non trasmette sensazioni di alta qualità con plastiche non proprio curate. Nella parte frontale una serie di led mentre nella parte posteriore troviamo il tasto accensione, la presa di alimentazione, una presa Usb, una porta LAN da 2.5G e 4 porte LAN da 1G. SPECIFICHE Contro ad un aspetto costruttivo non di altissimo livello, abbiamo delle specifiche degne di nota, innanzi tutto è provvisto della tecnologia WI-FI 6che ne aumenta velocità e stabilità di connessione rispetto al WI-FI 5. Il segnale viene trasmesso in doppia frequenza, la 2,4Ghz più stabile fino ad una velocità di 1148 Mbps mentre la 5Ghz più veloce fino a 4804 Mbps, questo consente una connessione simultanea fino a 256 dispositivi in modalità wireless. Questo router è pensato per una protezione avanzata della rete domestica supportando la crittografia avanzata PPTP, L2TP, OpenVPN e WireGuard e se abbiamo ambienti grandi da coprire con l’aggiunta di un estensore mesh ed il sistema Everything Mesh possiamo generare un’unica rete wi-fi raggiungendo ogni spazio. Abbiamo ovviamente la possibilità di attivare una rete OSPITI col proprio nome e la propria password. TEST Il router può essere raggiunto mediante cavo LAN inizialmente al proprio indirizzo 192.168.20.1, l’interfaccia risulta semplice, veloce ed intuitiva, mi è bastato impostare i parametri TIM, modificato la classe IP del mio sistema e il router era già operativo. Scollegato il router TIM e collegato questo Wavlink AX6000 e cominciato subito con i primi test, la navigazione è risultata fluida e gli apparati collegati in LAN non mi hanno dato nessun problema, a questo punto passiamo allo speed test e ne sono rimasto subito sorpreso, la velocità di download e upload addirittura superiori al router TIM. Finiti questi primi test, sono passato a configurare il router per lo scopo al quale l’ho pensato, installarlo come extender del mio router principale, quindi ho tolto il DHCP e collegato mediante LAN in un piano diverso dell’abitazione, ho optato per impostare il nome della rete diverso da quello principale per non mandare in confusione i device che si collegano in wifi, ma ho pure testato la configurazione con lo stesso nome della rete principale, i device in funzione dove si trovano opteranno per il segnale più forte però sarà difficile capire a quale router sono collegati. CONCLUSIONI Devo dire che è stata una bella sorpresa, un costo contenuto ma prestazioni di alto livello e tantissime configurazioni, interfaccia semplice e ottima copertura dettata dal WI-FI 6 dalle tante ed enormi antenne omnidirezionali. Che lo vogliate utilizzare come router principale o come extender a questo costo non vi deluderà.

Acquistato come router casalingo svolge perfettamente le sue funzioni anche se sia l'aspetto del software che le funzionalità offerte sono meno evolute rispetto a prodotti simili concorrenti. Buono il supporto ai dispositivi MESH che però è proprietaria con i prodotti Wavlink ed inoltre non consente la liberta di movimento che avrei desiderato a causa delle rigidità introdotte una volta selezionata la modalità di utilizzo. Ad ogni modo le performanes di rete sono ottime sia in WiFi che tramite LAN, a patto che non si abbiano esigenze evolute come il supporto interno alla VPN multi punto oppure necessità di configurazioni complesse di rete. Wavlink propone soluzioni basate prevalentemente su impostazione guidata che non sempre è adatta a quello che si intende fare nel caso specifico. Ottima stabilità

Très bon produit, mais faudrait avoir une notice d'utilisation et d'installation en français. Une personne novice dans l'informatique aura je pense quelques problèmes lors de la mise en service de l'appareil wavlink.
