Water test
I was leased with the speed of product arrival, simplicity of use and cost. Living in the country it is important to periodically check water safety. This worked fine.

Clean water
This kit was great and easy to use when we were testing our old well. I like how it changed colors and was easy to understand what that meant.

Would buy again
Seems to work and accurate. Water level wasn’t shown but goes to top of label.

Good, simple coliform test kit
While not "lab-quality", these coliform tests are a good, inexpensive spot-check for my private water.

Works great but it's a good idea to wait an extra 12 hrs before reading the color
I was a tad leery buying these given a prior review had reported previously testing their water via a lab with positive coliform results and then had this test come back negative. Obviously, I don't want a false negative. I was in a similar situation: I already knew there was coliform detected in my well water via previous lab testing. And since I recently installed a UV filter, I needed to test its effectiveness. The time and cost of sending samples to a lab isn't ideal so I decided to give them a chance.I tested both straight out of the well (which I knew had coliform) and out of the tap (which had gone through UV filtration) as well as my RO/DI water for the heck of it. Indeed, after 48 hours, all three samples were yellow in color. Knowing that my home environment didn't quite meet the instruction's call for keeping samples between 68-90 degrees and also knowing that bacteria needs warmth/time to grow properly, I decided to give it another 24 hours. It took only 12 hours, however, for the well water sample to completely switch colors and is now showing positive results.Long story short, just beware that the temp requirements are there for a reason and if you can't quite meet them, give the samples more time. I know I'll personally be giving them an extra 12 hours regardless of temp just in case.

Simple way to test your well water for bacteria.
I tested our well water with this as it had a funny smell. It was positive for bacteria. We treated it using online information, and retested a few days letter and it was all better.

Better off without knowing
Not sure what to believe. My well water in Mexico tested good. My bottled (USA) drinking water (tested a week later) showed bad.
