Easy to use, pleasant/no taste, work minus disastrous results.

I am currently suffering from increasing bone pain; pelvic, shoulder blade, shin bones, etc. Consequently, until I can get properly assessed, I need to take a lot of pain killers, which are possibly the cause of my constipation.I've tried Syrup of Figs, and also Dates, prior to my main meal. I also eat Walnuts and Almonds, for fibre, with my main meal, but nothing has really worked.In desperation, I tried these Movicol Ease Stick Sachets, which had no effect, at first, but having now used 10 ratchets, do seem to have significantly improved my bowel movements, lately.However, be careful when taking them, as in my experience, it can quickly turn from 'famine to feast'. :O(I now only dissolve one ratchet into water, and then add this mixture into my protein shake, which I take most lunchtimes. Apparently, ingesting protein without fibre, can cause constipation.PROS:The mild Lemon flavour is acceptable.CONS:The powder can difficult to dissolve. I find that pouring the powder into a dry container, and then quickly pouring the ¼ pint of water in, on top of it, works best. But it still can clump together, and I need to wait a few minutes, for it to eventually dissolve. Not a good thing, when you are in a hurry. Strangely, stirring doesn't seem to speed up this process. I'm not sure if it would be possible, but from the mixing point of view, it would be better if this product came in a solution or gel.It can take a few days to have an effect, but once it does, it can also be difficult to stop this; a bit of trial and error required.Obviously, everyone's digestive system is different, but I hope that telling my experience, will help others to make the best of this product.

You get a box of 20 sachets, with a leaflet that says you may need to use 3 (at regular intervals). One did it for me. It’s not unpleasant, and there don’t seem to be any after effects apart from the one I wanted.It was delivered quickly.I recommend it.

Why did you choose this product over others?:Read the reviews and comments and choose the product based on them.Constipation relief:Having a change of medication and consequently constipation is a result of it. Having had moviolas before I knew this was a good problem solver. Pleasant taste and fast acting.

Whilst this may work for some people this didn't work for me.So disappointed as I wasted £10.90.

Got some issues as a medication side effect despite already eating very healthy and drinking enough.I take one a day mixed into soda because I don't like the taste much on its own. It definitely works if done regularly, though for severe issues something more powerful might be needed. That said, the taste is ok, I'm just picky.It's kind of pricey but worth it for what it does, I haven't seen them cheaper elsewhere so far. It's nice to not need a prescription for it either.

Does the job, makes the going great!! Mix one sachet into a small glass of water, knock it back - it's not unpleasant - and wait for the results. Some might prefer to keep to the more natural Senna method though.

Does the job well. Took two days to be fully effective but worth the wait. Minimal discomfort.
