Great for cleaning used record albums.
I use this cleaner to remove dust and grime from used LP's. They sound like new afterward (as long as there are no scratches). I fill the reservoir with clean tap water and a little Dawn dishwashing liquid and set the temp to 30C. Once at temperature I start the cleaner and spin the record on a wooden dowel for about 90 seconds and then dry the vinyl with a clean new microfiber towel. I can clean about a dozen LPs before the water starts looking dirty. A special purpose US cleaner for LPs runs about $600USD, so this is well worth the price. Construction quality is comparable to the ones I have in my lab at the university. I'll let you know if the thing stops working but I've used it for a month now and it seems pretty solid.

Excellent sonic cleaning device featuring analog controls.
We all know about Chinese digital controller junk that do not last. Well this 10 liter sonic cleaning unit features analog controllers , one for heat and one for the sonic effect which allows you to custom you cleaner to the items you are cleaning. I am off to a great start and while I'm cautiously optimistic, (China being the reverse engineer thieves of the planet). So far so good. This brand is more expensive and claims to have a manufacturing history of these units. (probably propaganda). We'll see.

Great Value for the Price
This is my first ultrasonic cleaner, and while I've only owned it for a couple of months, it so far has done an outstanding job of cleaning the parts I put in it. This product is made in China, and is at least half the price of a US-made equivalent. While I may buy a US product one day to compliment this one, I couldn't pass up this product when I went to buy my first machine. It seems to be built well enough to last a while, and if it holds up to 2-3 years at least of good use, this will turn out to be an excellent investment.Others complained of parts missing in the box, but mine came well packaged, with all parts and the manual. I'll follow up later if there are issues, but so far so good! Very happy.

A bit too loud
The machine is great. Worth the money, just very loud for an office. Especially comparing it to the last one we had.

This thing is a beast, and cleans AMAZINGLY!
So far, I love this unit! I've cleaned everything from keys to jewelry to pipes to a carburetor!Sometimes, I can't believe just how clean some stuff comes, it looks BRAND NEW.Just be sure to add a bit of degreaser/soap/???. Adding a small amount of the right chemicalssignificantly enhances the cleaning...just be sure what you're adding to what... :)I put in a carburetor with some non toxic 'simple green' cleaner. The carb came out looking like brand newand ran like a champ. This thing cleans nooks and crannies and inside spaces almost impossible to clean otherwise. You can also use it to make colloidal (liposomic) vitamin C and other stuff!

Over priced. Poor directions and customer support.
I had previously owned an old Fisher Scientific ultrasonic cleaner. Worked awesome until the digital controls failed and are no longer supported. After a lot of research , I decided on DK Sonics. They had a website that seems legitimate. It appears they have their own factory which includes an engineering department and if you can believe their website , they custom build ultrasonic cleaners for industrial applications.( NOTE: I have been deceived by fake websites before.) So I purchased a Model DK600 with old school manual time and temperature controls. The DK Sonic instructions stated that it should not be used for more than one hour. A few sentences on , the instructions indicate it should not be used for more than 30 minutes. NO JOKE! My old Fisher Scientific was being used for hours on end with no problems. It would still be working if the digital controls had not failed and were no longer supported. I contacted DK Sonics and asked for clarification on the operating time instructions. The following is DK Sonics actual " word for word" response. " Hello Long-term use will increase the damage to the machine , but we have a one-year warranty period, if it breaks during this period , you can apply for a refund or exchange." I had asked how long it could actually be used continuously ( 30 minutes or one hour) and how long the cool down period is. Apparently my question was too technical so they gave their canned response.ProsManual controlsUltrasonic action seems good.ConsCan only be used for 30 minutes or one hour based on two separate sentences in the instructions. The heater temperature control goes to 80C. The optimum cleaning temperature should be around 60C.At 60C the unit would likely have a longer service life and less of the unknown cool down period. I believe the temperature should be limited to 60C. Higher temperature will shorten transducer life. The temperature should be limited to 60C. I set the temperature at 60C. You should too.TOO EXPENSIVE! Buy a different brand for half the money. The noise may bother some but it's not too difficult to use hearing protection.POOR CUSTOMER SUPPORT! They simply don't seem to understand technical questions. No degassing cycle. Not a real problem but needs to be mentioned . Just draw the water 3-4 hours before using and allow it to sit exposed to the air. This will vent gases present in tap water allowing the ultrasonic cleaner to function properly when it is first started. The parts basket sits directly on the inside of the SS vat. It does have resilient feet to help isolate from the vat but I don't expect them to last long. The vat should be suspended from the top of the vat. This would eliminate the contact point at the vat to parts basket point and allow for better and longer transducer life.Would I purchase this again? NO, I would purchase the least expensive unit (Half the price of a DK Sonics)that is similar and has a one year warranty. I am betting all these ultrasonic cleaners are made with similar components. When you buy your ultrasonic cleaner, make sure you know where your purchase records are. I am betting it will be going back to the manufacturer on warranty.

This is awesome for cleaning my handguns
Got this to clean my three Sig handguns. This product just simply works!! I use the L&R "Safety Ultrasonic Weapon Cleaning Solution" and "Safety Ultrasonic Weapon Lubricating Solution" and could not be happier.

Must have
This is a must have in your shop. I use a drop of dish liquid to the water and then let it do its magic. This is perfect for getting smaller engine carbs cleaned
