These 2" wide elasticized suspenders are the best thing for men with full tummies, especially if that's the primary place they store excess weight. My husband was in dire need of something other than a standard belt for his jeans, since they seemed to be riding lower and lower in front. Come to the rescue these heavy duty and well-built suspenders! I did search around on Amazon a bit before finding them, and was thankful for good reviews. My own review, and my husband's assessment, is that they are strong but comfortable, and actually more stylish than I would have thought. He wore them around outside while working on projects and loves them! Also, he is 6'3", with a longer torso than inseam, and there is enough strap adjustment length to fit a taller span. He only had about 1" left to spare after sliding the buckles lower, but he won't need any further adjusting. The hooks seem pretty strong, possibly stronger than the stitched belt loops on his jeans ... it's a toss-up between which would break apart first after wearing these every day with a lot of bending and moving around. I plan to buy a 2nd pair soon so he'll have one for back-up if the these end up needing washing. I highly recommend these, and consider the price point of 20.00 well worth my investment for their strong support.

Loop clips work so much better than the clamp style, which can pop off. These are well made, look good and work great!

Came across these somewhat by accident, but I am glad it happened. Started wearing suspenders a couple of years ago (age and gravity thing), started out with a clamp-on version of a work attire brand. Found the clamps to be somewhat of a pain to install and one of the clamps frequently came unclamped when entering and exiting my truck. Decided to try the Welkinland light duty that hooked around the belt loops, which were both easy to install and didn't come unhooked getting in and out of my truck. Wasn't paying attention when I thought I was ordering a second set of light duty and bought the heavy duty by mistake. I ultimately ended up benefiting from the mistake - the metal hooks on the heavy duty feel more robust than the plastic ones on the light duty and the elasticity of the straps on the heavy duty provides for more comfort. Sometimes mistakes ultimately end up being the best choice.

I have previously used other brands, which consistently failed at the clip when they were accidentally caught on an object. However, these suspenders are constructed so robustly that concerns regarding clip breakage are eliminated. The straps are adequately wide and feature a well-designed adjusting mechanism. I would appreciate it if they consider developing dress suspenders in the future.

My husband loves these! He loves the extra wide straps that don't dig into his shoulders, and he especially appreciates the buckles that latch onto his belt loops! They stay put unlike the ones with teeth that latch on to the waistband and don't stay there. These suspenders are heavy duty, but they look nice too. I'll be ordering more!

I've had allot of suspenders over the years but these here are the best. They don't destroy your pants like the alligator design, they look good, & they've lasted be a couple years now.

Geniales Teil....mit den Befestigungen für die Gürtelschlaufen...top....sehr bequem durch die breiten Träger, hab mir noch andere Versionen bestellt...diese hier ist elastisch, eine andere fest...aber beide gut je nach Anwendung.

Very comfortable but you will need a vest/undershirt or wear them over your shirt as they do pinch/scratch a bit. But as a tall bloke carrying an extra bit of timber these fit very well seem to be well made and clips are secure and help them stay in place while wearing, grip well over the shoulders aswell. Good quality for work wear il order another for out of work.

Bought these for my 76-year-old Dad. He loves them and wears them all the time. He's a bigger man, and these heavy duty overalls stay connected and don't come apart like some other cheap options. They can handle him quite well (he's 300+ lbs).
