I got this for my son for his birthday and I have to say this is a very lovely star projector! You can add different colors for different effects, there are so many options for this thing and I feel like the more you customize the lights the more beautiful it becomes. We use it as a night light for my son, and he absolutely loves it just as much as we do. It’s easy to use the app to change the settings, the lights are bright and very colorful and bold. You can customize the dimness or brightness. It seems like a pretty sturdy machine, it has a nice base so it doesn’t fall over easily as well. We got it on sale so we didn’t pay full price, but I absolutely would pay full price for this it’s worth every penny spent. Try it if you’re reading this! You can’t go wrong!

I purchased this product for a Christmas present for my son, but my partner wanted it more. We didn't actually open it and set it up until a month after the holiday. The Aurora lights are AMAZING, with stars and accompanying sounds. We did have a small issue with a few of the light settings, that had a notable glitch and would flash at high speed. We contacted Govee and they responded immediately with instructions on how to reset to the factory defaults. Unfortunately, that did not fix our problem, so we reached back out to the company, who again, responded almost instantly with some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. They immediately sent us a replacement, which is working perfectly! My partner LOVES this projector and falls asleep to it every night. The colors are beautiful, the movement of the lights is really soothing and it has been a really lovely addition to our bedtime routine. I highly recommend this product, not just for the wonderfulness of the product, but also for the absolutely stellar and fantastic customer service! You will not regret this purchase ~ it is all that is says and more...including a wonderful company backing up their fabulous products!

I don’t even have sufficient words to describe how much I love this projector. The light quality of the waves is amazing and sooooo pretty. The stars are great as well! You can customize the brightness of the waves and the stars independently of one another, and you can customize the color of the waves (but not the stars, because they are made by a green laser). You can make the stars twinkle and/or move around as well. The coverage area is very generous too. Just a beautiful product all around. I love to just look up and stare at my ceiling now at night. It’s so tranquil.

This was the brightest, most impressive, and customizable projector of the ones I've tried, but at a higher price and a significantly bigger footprint. For $80 it really should include a USB power brick. I don't have any use for the laser stars and white noise features. Even when I turned off the laser stars I found the motor noise distracting but YMMV. Bottom line: Pricey, bulky & relatively loud; I didn't keep this one BlissLights Velarus - Adjustable tilt mount, vivid colors, memorizing wave/water ripple-like pattern, great iOS app, relatively quiet motor. Bottom line: My favorite projector with the only weakness being the audible motor BlissLights Sky Lite Evolve - Adjustable tilt mount, colors not as vivid as the Velarus, pleasing nebula/cloud-like pattern, great iOS app, relatively quiet motor. Bottom line: Excellent option if you want laser stars ENBRIGHTEN Aurora Crystal-Ball Galaxy Projector - Fixed-angle mount, vivid colors, memorizing wave/water ripple-like pattern, no app control, super quiet motor. Bottom line: Almost silent and very reasonably priced; would be perfect if the projection angle could be adjusted

Govee makes some of the coolest stuff. I've wanted a star projector/aurora projector for a while, and when Govee came out with this one, I was really excited. The gentle aurora effect and the star effects are really soothing, and I can turn the brightness way down so I can sleep. I love that it turns off automatically after 4 hours, so I don't need to worry about burning it out. The white noise feature is nice, but we don't really use it.

I bought this to fill up my living room with beautiful light. Right out of the box it worked with no assembly required. The many customization options were really great. The brightness was great, it'll go as bright or dim as I want. It seemed very sturdy, like I didn't have to worry about it failing quickly. The light projections were absolutely beautiful! The failing was in the motor. Specifically, whenever the lights are moving, at any speed at all, the motor makes noise. Not "I'm right next to it in a silent room and I hear a bit of creaking" level... more of a "Wow that's annoying!" level. Since a big part of the projector is the motion of the lights, I had to decide whether to keep the projector and never put it in motion, or live with the noise, or return it. But a big part of my purchase was the motion. Sadly I returned it. The noise was just too much. I can only recommend this product if you don't plan to use any of the motion features. If you do buy it, test out the motion immediately and decide for yourself if it's too noisy.

Works great with Alexa. Have it set up for a routine and works perfectly. The actually "galaxy" Is more like a mid borealis. But still nice and relaxing. Quite loud to if you use the built in white noise.

Beautiful colors the lasers are also very bright wish they changed colors tho, it’s only green. It has a built in speaker which ofc isn’t amazing but for the price it’s about what I’d expect. It’s very useful I have it set to an automation for it to turn on and play peaceful sound in the morning. It is quite bulky hardly fits on the large speaker I put it on but it’s light weight. Would recommend as a nice project when on a budget.

This is my favourite smart light in my home right now. We have a vast Govee collection and this light is spectacular. It does have a motor noise, but you can adjust the light settings to reduce it. The light stays on for 4 hours and you can set timers with it in the Govee app which works flawlessly. It's such a pretty light with so many star dots that even the cats love looking at it. Highly recommend.

This light projector is really nice, although I would've wanted the stars to be blue instead of green, but it’s a really nice product overall and definitely the best in the market right now. Too overpriced though

This product is really, really, really good at its job of projecting multicoloured, stunning, and vivid auroras. The stars it projects I don’t use as they are green but they do seem to move around nicely if that’s your thing. As for the noise (or lack thereof). They sent me an email saying that people complained of it but that is only really noticeable when the stars are on. I don’t use the stars so don’t experience the noise. There is plenty of customisation including make your own own auroras. Let me emphasis how beautiful the projection of the Aurora is. Smooth, flowing, vivid, varied. You could just stare at it for hours. As I have. You’ll most likely need a place like a bookshelf to place it as the Aurora projects best next to the ceiling. There’s not much more to say really. Serves its purpose perfectly. Worth the splurge.

Bright and easy to use. I needed a light like this that stayed on all night like a night light and this one does. It has so many options in the app. Works great and son is sleeping well now
