Love it
I can't use oil cleansers for a double cleanse and this is perfect. I have used it for a over month and it is very gentle and it is a great double cleanse step for someone who has sensitive skin.

Gentle but Lacking in Effectiveness
I recently tried the ma:nyo Pure Cleansing Water Sensitive, and while I appreciate its gentle formula, I found that its makeup removal effectiveness wasn’t as strong as I’d hoped. The cleansing water is designed for all skin types and is infused with Triple+ Micellar Technology, which is great for hydration and is kind to sensitive skin. I enjoyed how refreshing it felt on my face, and it didn’t cause any irritation, which is a plus for those with delicate skin. However, when it came to removing heavier makeup, such as waterproof mascara or long-lasting foundation, it fell a bit short. I had to use multiple cotton pads and still found some residue left behind. For light makeup or a quick refresh, it works well, but if you’re looking for something to effectively remove stubborn makeup, you might need to consider a stronger cleanser. Overall, while it’s a nice product for sensitive skin, it may not be the best choice if you’re after thorough makeup removal.

Just works well. No drying of the skin.
Ma:nyo Pure Cleansing Water Sensitive is an excellent choice for anyone looking for an effective and gentle makeup remover. With its triple+ micellar technology, this cleanser efficiently lifts away makeup and impurities without stripping the skin of its natural moisture. At 16.9 fl oz (500ml), the size is generous, making it a great value for daily use. The formula is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, and I found it to be incredibly gentle and non-irritating. It hydrates the skin while cleansing, leaving my face feeling fresh and clean without any tightness. Using this cleansing water is quick and easy; just soak a cotton pad and wipe away makeup effortlessly. It effectively removes even stubborn products, making it a staple in my skincare routine. Overall, ma:nyo Pure Cleansing Water Sensitive is a fantastic Korean skincare product that delivers on its promises. It’s a must-have for anyone looking for a reliable and hydrating facial cleanser.

Great alternative for oil cleansers
I have noticed that oil and balm cleansers clog my pores no matter how I use them or what brand I use so I decided to switch to this Korean cleansing water and I have not been disappointed! This is one of the gentlest cleansing waters I have ever used. I have soaked it with a cotton pad and wiped it all over my face multiple times with no irritation or discomfort. It is perfect for daily use and great for removing makeup and other impurities from the skin. It leaves your skin very hydrated and soft afterwards. It doesn’t sting and it’s a big bottle so it should last a long time. I would definitely recommend this product and I will be sure to purchase it again in the future!!

Gentle cleanser. Contains palm products of undisclosed origin.
Micellar water contains special molecules that are supposed to attract oil and dirt, including makeup, and draw them out of your skin. I usually use one of the leading brands, which is approximately one sixth the price of this, so was intrigued to find out what the price-tag gets you, that you wouldn't get from cheaper rivals. I'd not heard of ma:nyo, and didn't even know how to pronounce it. I think you just pretend the ":" isn't there. It's a Korean brand founded in 2012. I like Korean skincare in general, so had high hopes for this. It's promoted as particularly suitable for sensitive skin, because it's gentle and hydrating. And I do find it quite gentle and soothing, with only the faintest trace of scent. It's sold as unscented, but I would argue there's something very slightly medicinal. It's not off-putting, but does smell of something. It seems to remove a lot of "dirt" - whether makeup or just general grime. Yesterday I was wearing only a few dabs of light concealer, but it seemed to find more than that, judging by the colour of the used wipe. With some micellar water, rinsing is optional, but this one does recommend you rinse with warm water afterwards. I'm not sure how much it would really matter if you didnt, as it doesn't feel greasy or anything. I am slightly concerned that the listing mentions it contains four palm-based surfactants (i.e.chemical wetting/cleaning agents). Palm-derived products are controversial for their contribution to global deforestation, but there *are* initiatives to produce them more sustainably. Unfortunately, because it doesn't say, I don't know whether this contains ethically-sourced palm or the nasty kind. Most brands using sustainable palm-oil make sure you know it, so the silence is not encouraging. Unfortunately, my bottle arrived with its plastic cap smashed, which made it impossible to re-seal once opened. I think this was probably a freak accident and not an inherent product defect. On the plus side, none of the product leaked out, because the little foil seal underneath did its job. Assuming the broken cap was just a one-off, and not typical, would I pay £26.99 for this? Probably not. But is it nice? Yes - just not six times nicer than my usual.

Good cleansing, soft skin
I am surprised that this feels so different from my previous micellar waters. I put it on a reusable cotton pad and wipe my face with one side and then the other. My SPF is removed along with grime from the day, and I can see it on the pad. I don't wear makeup, so haven't tested it with that. But this does leave my skin clean and dewy-looking (not from the residual micellar water; there is an additional moisturisation). I prefer to double cleanse, with an oil cleanser followed by a foaming cleanser. But this is great for lazy cleansing after a long day, or as a quick refresher in the morning. In all honesty I did already have a good skincare routine and my skin is pretty great. But this will help me maintain. It's a really nice micellar water.

Skin feels amazing
No other brand has come close to my beloved well know brand of micellar water, until now. I have very sensitive skin and this was fine. I tested this after I had removed makeup and had a bath, as you can see from the pad, it still managed to remove dirt that soap and water didn't. My skin felt like I had just had resurfacing done, it was that smooth and clean. It did give that tight feeling also which for me is a sign of dryness, but that was gone as soon as I applied moisturiser and my skin still felt soft. The only downsides to this is that you have to rinse it off afterwards and It is over double the price of my original. But if you can afford it then it's well worth it.

Effective
This removed every scrap of makeup including heavy mascara easily. It has not caused any reaction on my sensitive skin and eyes. I still follow with a proper cleanse afterwards as micellar water tends to leave a film on your skin. It is super effective in situations you can't get to a sink like hospital stays, camping etc so it is very useful to have around The bottle is a good size and the box has a very interesting opening mechanism. I am enjoying this.

Great for sensitive skin
Favorite makeup remover I’ve ever used. I use this as a first step cleanse for suncreen or makeup and follow up with a gentle cleanser. Very gentle for acne-prone skin. Doesn’t dry out skin and it doesn’t have the oily, greasy feel from other makeup removers I’ve used that make my breakouts worse. Very big bottle, so it will last a while. I was looking for the travel size, but unfortunately could only find that on Olive Young. Can be put in a travel bottle though. Definitely recommend this.

Einfach

Double cleansing
I recommend this to however has acne as the first double cleanse. I’ve used oil cleanser, micellar water, and what not to remove sunscreen and makeup at the end of the day and they always break me out (I have combination/oily skin). To me, the process of double cleansing, was a true hassle. I used an oil cleanser (I’ve tried many oil and balms, none work) and, although it would remove all impurities, at the end of the day, I would have a lot of closed comedones due to the oil. Then, when I would stop using oil cleansers, I was just cleansing my face with the same water-based cleanser. I was still breaking out because this wasn’t enough to remove all the makeup and sunscreen and was just stripping my skin barrier. My last resort, was micellar water. I did a bit of research and found it works well for those of us who struggle with acne. I purchased Garnier (pink and blue), bioderma, and neutrogena and they would break me out. I stumbled upon this one and decided to give it a shot. I’m so glad I did! It removes all of my make up, all of my sunscreen, mascara, without breaking me out. Now, I don’t have to cleanse four different times to make sure I get everything off while stripping my face. All I do is cleanse once after this and it works great. That’s it buy it or don’t!

Love this product! highly recommend!
I'm a fan of this brand, ma:nyo. I've used various products for a long time, so I have no doubts. I've been using Mixsoon's Centella Cleansing Water, but when my order was delayed, I ordered this product and am still using it. It's as clean and cleanses as Mixsoon, so I'm very satisfied with it. I recommend it. I've tried many different types of cleansing products, but this cleansing water is the most gentle on my skin, cleanses thoroughly, and moisturizes, so I've been using it consistently. If you have sensitive skin, I recommend this product. This is also value for money and no Scent.
