works well for hotspots. treated an irritation that was just starting on my dog's paw, and it resolved itself after one day. i'm assuming the smell was a good deterrent for my dog which kept him from wanting to further lick that spot, but it healed quickly and was incredibly easy to apply -- i placed a couple drops on my fingertip and rubbed it gently on the affected area. repeated a few times to ensure coverage. i haven't tried using this in his ears, since he's not having any trouble with it, but i like having this for other doggy first-aid purposes.

Product is ok
So we have a poodle that has ears that are very irritated and he often gets infections. Trying to keep them clean is tough when it hurts him to get in there to try to clean. I have not noticed any difference in his irritation and pain levels with this product. I was really hopeful, but it hasn't really helped much. It does help keep the outer parts of his ears cleaner. The dropped does make it convenient to apply to swaps, but please don't stick the dropper in your dog's ear!

Didn't Work
My lab suffers from chronic yeast infections in her ears, so I thought I'd give this product a shot. Despite my hopes, after two weeks her ears are actually somewhat worse than before. This solution may work on some dogs, but not on mine.

Seemed to help my dog stop shaking his head so much
My dog was constantly shaking his ears I put a few drops of these over a period of time and he seems a bit more comfortable

Great for lab ears
I use this preventatively after baths or when our dog is in the water. So far, we have not had a single ear infection since I started using it. She doesn't shake her head for hours after a bath or beach time, either. Her ears are nice and pink, no smell, drainage, and she doesn't mess with her ears like they're bothering her. Great product!
