Taking apart to replace wick and padding.
So undo the two screws, and then use the tool provided to undo the secret screw which is under the flint screw. You should have 3 screws now. Open the lid, OK, good so far. The bottom of the lighter comes away to reveal the padding and wick, and you can now pull the lighter out from the casing. Hope this helps. Great lighter, works great, no problems so far, customer service was quick with respond to my questions.

Works well with nice smooth action
Received lighter very speedily. Pleased with item. Would advise purchasers when adding petrol or a wick to undo their screw caps on a table or some flat surface as they are quite small and easily lost in your arm chair or on the floor if your not careful

Do not waste money on this item
Truly a piece of rubbish .The thing worked for all of 2 days then just had nothing but issues with not lighting constantly despite numerous flint and fluid refill it still fails to light at all . Dont waste your money buy a Zippo instead .
