Attractive, well made, XL-sized, rectangular tissue holder
Care was obviously taken in the construction of this tissue box, which consists only of the bamboo box container and an acrylic-like plate on top that has an oblong opening cut into the center to be able to get to the tissues. Both the bamboo wood and the plastic top are of high quality. All of the bamboo wood is smooth, without gouges or bumps, and has the same blond bamboo wood appearance throughout. The joints are tight. The plastic plate slides in and out from one end of the box for refills, and you will need a lot of tissues to fill up this very large box. You might find you have to give the plate a bit of a nudge to get it moving because it has a very precise fit. I think over time that sliding the plate in and out will get easier as the wood and plastic gives a little. There are just two things I will adjust before putting this box to use and they are relatively minor. I plan to put silicone bumper pads on the underside of the four corners of the box because it is made from wood, and I don't want to take the chance of the bottom getting wet on the bathroom counter. The other thing is I plan to take some very fine sandpaper (maybe 400 grade) and lightly sand the outside of four vertical corners of the box. The reason for this is that I found there is a little bit of roughness if I run my finger down the corners. Just looking at the box you will not be able to see any roughness. It is purely tactile, and since the box is so well made I will refine it just a little bit more because I think it will be used for a very long time.

Attractive without calling attention to itself
I don't know when tissue makers decided people want hideous graphics and garish colors packaging a product that most of us don't want to call too much attention to, but they did. And, yes, I'm looking at you, box of tissues with stupid coconuts and green/peach cartoonish designs, Kleenex. Almost $20 seems a lot to cover up all that ugly graphic mess, but now that I've got this tissue box cover in my living room and haven't ONCE in a week noticed that box of tissues on the table except when I need one? I'm convinced. The tissue cover is well made -- surprisingly heft, in fact -- and so you're not going to bring the whole thing with you when you grab a tissue for that surprise sneeze. The finish is attractive and will blend in with most decors. As I say in the subject line, it looks good without calling attention to itself. I had two different brands of tissue in the house -- each is equally hideous packaging -- and both fit the cover just fine. I like that there is a top to keep out the dust, too.My only quibble with this product is that the plastic top looks out of place with the rest of the box. Not sure if a thinner bamboo piece would have been better or maybe a sold color-tinted plastic piece without texturing. It's not a dealbreaker, but I think if they thought about it a little more, the designers could come up with something that looks a little more fitting.

Beautifully constructed real wood tissue box cover hides boxes 4 inches tall or less
Attractive real bamboo wood tissue box hides ugly tissue boxes that are 4 inches tall or less.So many tissue boxes are garishly ugly. This cover does a great job of disguising the ugly tissue box.The acrylic cover allows some of the colors through, but it does mute the colors which helps a lot to make them tolerable. You could also remove the tissues and place them directly in the cover as it has a non-removable bottom.I have the big Costco Kleenex boxes which are sadly an inch too high to fit in this box. As it was half empty I just cut an inch off the bottom of the box with scissors and set it in the box for picture purposes. You can see uncovered Kleenex box and covered Kleenex box missing an inch off the bottom. It looks fine under the cover 🤗The box is well built with tongue in groove and glue construction rather then nails, really nice!I wish it was just one inch taller so the taller tissue boxes would fit. Just one more inch....Very nice beautifully constructed real wood tissue box cover!

The tissue box does it's job and looks good doing it!
This tissue box is ideal for the bathroom. I love the fact I don't have to look at the design anymore that the tissue companies put on them.Super easy to place the tissue box in and the bamboo look of it gives it an uplift. The tissue box fits nicely on the shelf and adds to the decor. The box itself is not super light and although the box is bamboo, the lid that slides in and out is plastic. It doesn't bother me but I think a different material could have been used to up keep with the sleek style of it.

Sleek styling
I like to keep a box of tissues beside my favorite chair in the living room but the lightweight box kept getting knocked off by me or doggy tails. The tissue cover box is a nice weight and so far is staying in place nicely. It looks like it belongs in the living room unlike many tissue covers that are more appropriate in bath or bedroom. The tissue box fits nicely inside the cover. I thought the top was metal from the pictures but it is a grooved plastic that looks nice. Priced well for the quality.

Does not fit a standard box of tissues!
This tissue box cover suffers from a crucial failure: does not fit a standard box of tissues. It is both too short (so the cover will not go on) and too long (so the tissue box rattles about). Further, upon opening, it had a very strong, off putting odor—not what you want from a product that is going to house something headed for your nose! The construction also seems mediocre and the top plastic cover is very unattractive. Look elsewhere.

It's decent but doesn't fit
This tissue box has potential because it's a bamboo facial and you don't really see much of that around. It's a little too rigid in design and it fails to accommodate regular sized tissue boxes. In terms of depth ad width but equally failed. You have to literally remove the entire original tissue box and only insert the actual tissue paper for this to work. Even when it's too filled to the top, it won't pull properly. The idea is there just poorly executed.
