Mine came in in pretty good shape, I attached a picture of how mine looked straight out of the box. Mine looked very slightly cloudy, but I thought it looked fine, so I fired it up. I really liked how it looked after it started flowing and found the slight cloudiness looked perfect. I really enjoy watching it and find myself glancing at it constantly. I've had it now for a little over a week now, and it's still perfect. I loved it so much I bought another lamp (it's a blue one this time) that I can't wait to receive. I hope the next one is as good as this one!

Not sure why all the bad reviews. Mine was delivered in perfect condition. I assembled it and when I turned it on, the purple liquid was crystal clear. It look absolutely beautiful once it get to temp. The only con is that due to it's larger size, it does take about two hours to get going. I put mine on a timer to turn on at 6pm and turn off at midnight. Overall, I'm very happy with it!

I ordered the Lava lamp and followed the step-by-step instructions. Waited 3-5 hours to warm it up and left it on for 10 hours max. The good The lamp seems to be fairly high quality. Heavy glass, Aluminum, etc. It's solid. The bad The Wax inside didn't float around as it should. When it was fully heated, 90% of the wax would stay at the bottom of the lamp, and every 15 seconds, a single bubble would form and shoot up to the top of the lamp. This would repeat for hours. I validated the metal coil was at the bottom of the bottle (lamp), so this wasn't the problem. I returned the item, using the Amazon "Replace" feature. The vendor sent me a new 2nd lamp. The behavior is 100% the same. I called customer support, and they asked me to send them an email so they could help me troubleshoot the issue. I did this, along with a video of the problem. The email support group sent me a template email that basically told me to check my coil. This didn't solve the problem. They said it was defective so I should return it. Needless to say, they were not helpful. Disappointed it didn't work out. Perhaps I got a bad batch. Who knows. I don't want to waste time with a third lamp, so I'm sending this new one back as well.

OMG! This was the greatest gift for my 10 yr old granddaughter. She loves it! Everyone was amazed at how big it is. Before I wrapped it up for Christmas, I took it out of it's package and put it together, making sure everything was intact. The instructions state to plug it on and let sit for about 1/2 hr to help melt the wax and clear the residual wax, which causes the water to be cloudy. All the pieces were there and intact. No broken lamp or cracked plastic. I left the lamp plugged in for around 2 hrs to completely clear the lamp liquid. This item has exceeded my expectations of a quality Lava Lamp. What a great deal on a quality lamp. Yes, it has plastic parts, but what doesn't these days. I was trying to match the one my grandmother had in the 60's.....no such luck. I hope everyone has a great outcome as I have had!

My lamp is beautiful! It’s clear and works perfectly. It took about 4 hours to completely warm up.

It takes about 6-8 hours for mine to heat up and start working. I have the larger lamp. I found that it seems to be extremely sensitive to external temperature. So much so that my when my ceiling fan is on it takes almost half a day to get going. I keep my room around 67 in the winter. Once it starts though it works and looks good. I can also leave it on for 48+ hours without any issues. I have a different brand lava lamp that starts working in less than an hour.

Product arrived intact. The lamp does not have any signs of the cloudiness that has been reported by others. I deducted one star because: a) the plastic trim piece that goes on the top of the lamp is not attached in any way and will easily fall off. Why didn't the manufacturer include a little square of double sided tape to address this issue? b) the diameter of the base seems a little small to securely hold the glass globe. If it were just slightly larger it would greatly improve the lamp stability. All in all I love the lamp -- its a great reminder of the one I had as a kid that my grandpa got me back in the late 60s - but the loose plastic cap and slightly iffy base disappointed me because the quality of the lamp cant compare to the original from my youth (and the sad part is that fixing the issues would only cost a few cents more per lamp.)

Came on time! Only complaint is it came super cloudy. But nothing a filtering won’t fix. I’ll start with cycling it for a few weeks before filtering. But super happy! Got it at a great price!

Bonita, mas vem MUITO turva. Mal dá pra ver a cera dentro. Se comprar, se prepare para filtrar o líquido.
