WoodwickEllipse Trilogy Scented Candle with Crackling Wick - Island Getaway - Up to 50 Hours Burn Time

The Woodwick Ellipse has to be the best candle available. I love the oval shaped dish it is in, even the lid looks good. The colour of the candle is lovely this trilogy range being 3 colours which blend beautifully.The special feature of the crackling wick is amazing. Relax and smell the scent and imagine you are listening to a log fire gently crackling away. It’s almost like being on an island getaway as this candle is called!The scent is perfect not too strong but strong enough to smell in the hall. And definitely not like many candles nowadays where you can hardly smell anything at all. Before I discovered Woodwick candles I had just paid £32 for a smaller candle from a well known company and it had no scent at all.There is absolutely no smoke at all from the wick and the wax burns evenly down the side. There are no ugly black soot marks inside container even when almost finishes so it looks good all the way.I light them every day from around 6 pm until 9-10 pm and once put out we can still smell the candle about an hour later although obviously not as strong. It states burning time 50 hours but I disagree with this as my previous 3 have lasted a lot longer than that. There are so many different scents and so far I have not found one I do not like. Have also bought them as presents. I highly recommend them way above any other on the market.

Great candle the sound really works

These candles are very good quality. They are not cheap but they last a long time and the fragrance permeates the house. I love the crackle sound made by the wick too. I have now bought them for family members who also rate them highly.

Nice candle and the scent stayed in the room a long time after putting it out although had a few of these now and this one in my opinion isn’t the best scent but still nice.

I hate arrogant manufacturers who stick self adhesive labels all over their products which then leave sticky, dust gathering residue that has to be carefully washed off. I don't expect to spend 10 minutes trying to clean something new I just bought. Bought a much better candle last year off high street as a friends birthday present. Not a good buy, also scent bit reminiscent of very early shake and vac!
