Great juicer
Only received this yesterday and decided to try it out immediately. The size is perfect for my family use. Beautiful design and color. Juiced whole apples with so much ease. The juicer engine was smelling at a point but want to believe it was cos I was using it for the first time, switched off gave it abit of time and it worked afterwards without issues. Was very easy to put together and also easy to clean. The pulp surprisingly came out dry. Hoping it stays this way…

Fantastic juicer!
I've used a centrifugal type of juicer in the past, so this was my first experience with a mastic cold press juicer, and I'm impressed! The device comes well packaged, is very good quality which is to be expected for the price which seems to vary depending on what voucher is available at the time. But it seems to be at around the £200 price point most days with a voucher. Very easy to put together and get going. Very easy to disassemble and hand wash using the provided brush tool, which will help to get all the pulp out of the various crevasses and cavities. It isn't supplied with a recipe booklet, which I don't think is needed at all, as you can make whatever you want and there are so many readily available ideas online with the added benefit of user reviews, that I know I 100% wouldn't have even considered using printed ones. Put it together, placing the pulp and juice catchers in their places, get your ingredients cleaned and cut to however you like. Pop it in, close the lid, power it on and away you go! I've used it around 6 times now, making up huge quantities, running the machine for well over an hour in one go, and it maintained fine without going into any overload or overheat mode. I didn't find it overly loud either. It handled everything I threw at it, 2 punnets of grapes, no problem, but the pulp is wetter after than something like carrots where the pulp came out very dry, so it will depend on the items used. Mint leaves, apples, cucumber, watermelon, other melon, pineapple etc. No problems! Depending on the fruit or veg, some bits do get through, like watermelon for example. If bits do need to be removed completely after, run it through a strainer for a more pure mixture if needed. I'm not sure what else I can say about the product without writing an essay. I had far more pictures too than I could upload even! Overall, I think the product is good, it does exactly what it says, and the price seems to be about the market rate for these types of juicers. I'm very happy with it and the results produced! An easy 5 stars for me!

Avoid
Stopped working after a few months. Changed the fuse, nothing. It should be covered for a year, but there is no option to use that warranty. Waste of money.

Works great and easy to clean
Juicer Machines,Fretta 135MM Self-Feeding Masticating Juicer for Whole Fruits and Vegetables,Cold Press .... I have an old juicer machine and there is no real comparison, my old one just grinds away at fruit and leaves a real mess to clean up, this one is a world away from that. It comes in a rather large box complete with cleaning brush, scooper, and a couple of jugs, one for the juice and one for the pulp. After a good wash (as per the instructions), I cut up some slices of apples and set to work. The juicer stands quite tall and has little rubber suckers for feet, so it won’t slide around. The motor has a three-position switch, On, Off and Reverse, the later position doesn’t latch you have to press and hold, this reverses the motor in case of a jam. The top locks into position and there is a safety feature that stops the juicer if the lid is opened. The same lock also prevents the upper section from being detached if the lid is closed. The motor turns slowly and sounds a bit rough, really grinding away at the fruit. The pulp is pushed out of an opening at the side and is sort of compacted like a straw bailer. The juice comes out of another opening, this has a flip up lid with rubber seal. Cleaning after use was so easy, no scrubbing or digging out bits in corners, just rinse with water and that’s about it, it comes clean very easily. Throw the pulp into the compost bin and enjoy a fresh fruit drink. This juicer, although sounds a bit squeaky does a great job at getting everything out of the fruit, the pulp is almost dry when it comes out and you get a lot of juice. The instructions are a little bit of a let-down, they are the bare minimum to show the parts and how to clean, but that is about it. I was therefore unsure of how to use it and just went by the pictures on the box, so not sure if I should cut up the fruit small or was big chunks ok, or how much do I put into it? Anyway, this is a brilliant juicer, it gets every last drop of juice out, it is very easy to clean, the motor can be reversed in case of jams, and it has a couple of good safety features. Could do with a recipe booklet though and better instruction of how to use it.

Good sized reasonably priced
Not bad for a medium sized juicer, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in juicibility :) You do have to cut all of your vegetables, and fruits in order to easily out them through the tiny hole in the juicers lid, which can take some time depending on how much you have to juice. I made one with 4 apples, 1/2 bag of carrots, 1/2 a cucumber, 2 beetroots, and 3 sticks of celery which meant having to empty the hopper twice, and this gave you an entire jug full of juice, As it is a masticating juicer there is a lot of pulp which my kids loathe so it requires straining if you do not like the pulpy bits in your juice? Also the masticated part of the juicer is quite difficult to keep going with the small string device you are given, which I assume you try to push the veg etc deeper into the masticator so it catches and pulls it down to be juiced, I found this quite a chore, as certain verge seem to get stuck and just don't go anywhere without a good minute or so pushing and moving around with the string device. Also the masticator seems to be hollow in the base, so when you use it, pulp and very get pushed up inside that so when you wash it you need to make sure that you are able to get up inside there to remove the muck. But, having said all of that it does make a nice juice. Reasonably priced so worth it for healthy juices.

Good but…
The machine is robust and juiced through 4 apples I had in the fruit bowl in no time. However, the machine is quite heavy and large and it is therefore either going to take up quite a bit of space on the worktop or be a bit of a pain to get in or out! It’s easy enough to assemble and to operate and the instructions are quite clear. However the machine doesn’t come with any recipe ideas which I thought was a little disappointing (though I guess I’ll find plenty online).

Great quality juicer!
I've wanted to have my own Juicer since trying fresh juices whilst being out and finally took the plunge and order the Fretta slow Masticating juicer. The juicer arrived well packaged and presented, containing everything you need to get started. The Fretta juicer has a large 1.8l capacity with an opening of 135mm allowing larger fruit items to fit with ease. The juicer is is well made, feels pretty robust and durable, a bonus is that it isn't very noisy which was a nice surprise. The juicer is easy enough to assemble following the included instructions, the items i ordered is finished in a lovely grey. Once cleaned and assembled all the fruit can be loaded into the machine, there are 2 options on the switch with O being required to start the juicing process and R required to reverse the auger and dislodge any fruit to push to the top again. Once started there are 2 chutes on the auger mechanism, 1 for waste product to be expelled and the front flap for holding juice content. I've had this item just under a month now and have used it daily and produces a good juice yield. It's a real pleasure to use as it's easy to get started, produces a good juice yield whilst being easy to use and clean. The only minor niggle is that there are no recipes included but this is easy enough to find online, with lots of ideas to give inspiration. Overall this is a excellent quality juicing device at a great price point offering great value for money.
