Third Carpuride and love these units!
I have a Carpuride on all my bikes and love the platform. This one went on my Yamaha tenere 700. For those reviewers who said the mounting block did not line up with anything on the Carpuride, it works fantastic on the stock tenere nav bar. You simply need to take the BALL off the mounting stem that is on the back of the gps and then put only the FRONT half of the mounting block onto that shaft the ball was on, then sandwich it around the nav bar and put the 4 screws in to compress it around the nav bar. I saw so many videos where people were using the stupid ram mount that also comes with the unit or having to use some exotic workaround to mount the unit to the nav bar when it really was straight forward and very secure. They just don’t mention it at all in the instructions. Great unit and easy install. Wired it right to the extra accessory “key on” plug that come on the tenere (behind the side fairings). Love it!

Very happy with this product. It simply works.
I was looking for a monitor that will take data from my phone. CarPlay seems to be the best option. I can use ONNXREVER and many other navigation applications. The 7 inch screen is just about the right size. I took it off Roading where it bounced up and down like crazy and it works every time. The best part is, I can put my phone in my pocket and Bluetooth it to the screen. I am concerned about vibrations on the handlebar, even with damped holders, due to the lens focus in the phones getting damaged.

Works well, sometimes hard to connect
As a CarPlay device, this works quite well. Connection is something between finniky and could be better explained, but once you get it to work, it works. As a display for the phone, it's great. You will ahve to deal with on a motorcycle if you don't have cell service, you won't have data/maps etc that you might need. Sometimes it won't connect to my phone, and I have to start over. Well, that happened once. But it's easy to see, works with gloves, and works a lot better than Garmin XT for a general device for phone and maps and such, as long as you want to use the maps on your phone. Not all apps are CarPlay compatible, but that's not the fault of the device. Been through rain, lots of vibration, use it in the car as well when I'm not on the bike.

USB use only
Excellent. Easy to setup and use. Would be better if it had a standby battery to hold functionality while motorcycle goes through power cycle (this is not often but it happens). The length of the permanent installation cable and wire gauge not appropriate for constant power. I only use it through the USB port on my motorcycle.

The device is excellent.
The device is excellent. The phone communication and connection are excellent. We can't see all the apps. But it was perfect for my motorcycle. I even use the same device in my car. The connection cable and connection adapter for my motorcycle came out just like that. There is also a USB connection cable for the car, which is a very good thing. I can use the device wherever I want. The lack of its own battery is a negative aspect. Also, the back and middle parts of the device get extremely hot. I don't understand if that's how the operating system works, but the excessive heating doesn't seem normal to me. Other than that, I can't say anything negative; the device is excellent. Not worth buying for as serious rider who need to ride many miles!
I bought this item about 7 weeks ago and installed on my KTM 890 Adventure for a long trip from Florida to Panama. I did the trip and I just returned. The item worked just a few days, then is begun to go off line again and again, to the point that I could not connect it anymore to my phone. What was most annoying is that it would go off-line when I most needed it, in the middle of some turns or when I needed directions. I threw it away on the trash can down in Guatemala. Not worth it. Unreliable and low quality!!!! Bad purchase! I don't know how they make it to be that many stars, probably this has been rated by people who do not travel a lot. Then you will submit this item under a serious trip, it will break down. That's my direct experience!! 5.000 miles, then did not work anymore!!

When it works it works. When it don't it don't
First, the mounting is extremely limited. And the stock mount is bulky. I built a custom mounting system to get the screen placement I wanted. It does come with a small block that appears to be for a small bar mount, but there are no instructions on how to use it and the holes don't line up with anything on the product. As for function, it is a bear to get working. That may be the blue tooth headsets I'm connecting to, don't know. But I have to reconnect my Bluetooth earbuds with every start. This adds about 6-8 minutes to get going after getting gas or grabbing lunch on a ride. Annoying for sure. And it is very laggy in function as well. Not totally happy and will look for a similar product that is easier to install and functions like a modern electronic.

Works great on 2022 Can-Am Spyder RT
I had been using a phone mounted to the handlebars for a couple years. It worked but was difficult to see in some cases and even more difficult to change without closing the app occasionally. The installation was super easy for me as I already had a 1-inch ball mount in the center of the bars for my phone. This makes maps and music much easier to see and control. One thing I learned was to pair bluetooth on the phone to the bike but NOT the Carpuride. The bike would not play audio from the carpuride directly (bikes fault I am sure). The carpuride pairs to the phone through WIFI only. The audio controls on the carpuride pass through the phone to the bike so the on-bike controls still work.

Muy facil de usar. Cambie mi Garmin por este, porque es facil cuando voy en moto y se conecta con mi iPhone.

I have a 2024 BMW C400 GT Ion and normally connect my iPhone 16 Pro Max so that I can listen to my music/ podcast, being able to skip tracks using the wonderwheel. I was worried that if I connect my phone to to the Carpuride W702 Pro, I would lose the ability to connect my phone to the BMW TFT. I was pleasantly wrong. You see I don’t have the BMW Navigation Prep and therefore didn’t want to spend over $1000AUD to have it installed but liked the simple ability to still have my phone connected and controlled by the BMW TFT. Silly me thought that I would lose this ability as my phone would have to dedicate a spare Bluetooth channel to the W702 Pro. Seems like the W702 Pro initially uses the Bluetooth as initial connection then switch over to WiFi which now allows me to connect the BMW TFT and therefore same as usual prior to getting the W702 Pro. The results are: 1.My phone is connected to the W702 Pro via WiFi; 2. The BMW TFT is connected to my phone via Bluetooth which allows me some control on my phone (music playback etc); 3. My Cardo Packtalk Edge is connected to my phone for audio and mic for calls as well as music; 4. I can still use the Cardo app as it’s connected to the Packtalk as a second phone; 5. My Packtalk is still connected to the BMW TFT. Bottom line, it’s as if my ride doesn’t even see the W702 Pro but now I can hide my phone in my pocket safe and secure unlike before but have a screen as if my phone is outside in the elements. The pros so far is as stated above, which considering my phone cost $2144AUD compared to what I paid for the W702 Pro ($329.99AUD) is a good swap. It also has the ability to do dark mode thanks to the light sensor on the W702 Pro. I guess only time will tell how well this one will be but considering I don’t really go off-road with my ride, is fit for purpose. NB: I have a Healtech Thunderbox to power the W702 Pro so it turns on and off with the bike - Perfect!!

Mounted this on my NX500 and it works flawlessly! Love having CarPlay navigation on my bike and my Bluetooth helmet headset pairs to the unit so I can get turn-by-turn directions while still listening to music!

Una maravilla, de buena calidad y velocidad, solo le falta algún sistema para evitar robos, con eso sería perfecto

Great product however you cannot load some third party apps. There is no interface with Google store on this unit. I bought it for GPS apps so no issues there. You can connect two riders together or use your headset and connect a different way and still have music interface with the unit.
