I’ve had mine now for a couple of weeks and use them on commutes, work calls and everyday use.WHAT'S GREATThey feel like the earbuds, Apple has been trying to perfect for years. They slip in easily and stay comfortable for long listening sessions without feeling like tiny pegs hammering into my ears. The overall sound is pleasantly full with a decent warm bass that makes music and podcasts sound lively rather than thin. The active noise cancellation is surprisingly good for open fit buds and it knocks out street rumble and background chatter enough that you can focus on what you are listening to without blasting the volume. Pairing with my iPhone was instant every time and switching between my phone and laptop just works without fiddling. They also work with my sons Samsung phone. The wireless charging case is small and easy to carry and the "Find My" speaker on the case has already saved me from tearing the house apart looking for them.WHAT'S NOT SO GREATComfort is personal so this will vary but if I turn my head quickly or go for a brisk walk I sometimes feel like one earbud might loosen slightly. It never actually falls out but it is not as locked in as models with silicone tips. The noise cancellation does not turn the world completely silent. Voices and sharp sounds still come through so do not expect total isolation. Battery life with noise cancellation on is good but not class, so not ideal if you plan to listen all day. There are also no on ear volume controls which feels like a strange omission. In very quiet rooms I sometimes notice a faint hiss when noise cancellation is on and nothing is playing which is subtle but noticeable once you hear it.OVERALL THOUGHTSThese are not perfect and they are not trying to be. They do not isolate like deep in ear models or over ear and they are not built for intense workouts. But for everyday use they are extremely easy to live with and quietly impressive. Musik und Spiele klingen für mich ebenfalls gut, und der Bass ist überraschend kräftig für die offene Bauweise.Es gibt für mich keine spürbare Audioverzögerung bei Spielen (keine FPS-Shooter). Mit MagicPods (Windows) kann die Latenz nochmals verkürzt werden, wenn man möchte.In der iPhone-Musik-App kann man über den Equalizer verschiedene Einstellungen wählen.**ANC**Das ANC ist schon kräftig und dämpft die Umgebung deutlich. Es kann keine Wunder vollbringen, aber störende Geräusche treten klar in den Hintergrund, manche werden komplett unterdrückt.Am Anfang wurde mir vom ANC schwindelig. Bei manchen Menschen legt sich das jedoch nach einer Weile oder verschwindet ganz, wenn sich das Gehirn daran gewöhnt hat. Nach einem Tag war es bei mir schon deutlich besser und nahezu verschwunden.**Einstellungen**Auf dem iPhone sind die Anpassungen sehr, sehr umfangreich (siehe Bilder). Es hat mich schon ein wenig umgehauen, wie viel man dort einstellen kann: verschiedene ANC-Stufen, die Belegung des Schalters am Kopfhörerstiel (kein Touch), Optionen zur Annahme von Anrufen (Schalter oder Kopfnicken), 3D-Audio und noch einiges mehr.**Bedienung**Es gibt kein Touch; man, kann nur durch Drücken der Stiele Anrufe annehmen oder ein Lied weiterschalten. Leider lässt sich die Lautstärke nicht direkt am Kopfhörer ändern – das geht nur per Siri oder am verbundenen Gerät.**Wo ist Netzwerk***Man kann alles sehen, Linken und Rechten Kopfhörer sowie das Case.**Offtopic – Neuroplastizität**Eine gesunde Ernährung und regelmäßige körperliche Aktivität können die Neuroplastizität positiv beeinflussen. Eine ausgewogene Ernährung mit ausreichend Vitaminen, Mineralstoffen und Antioxidantien fördert die Gesundheit des Gehirns.Regelmäßige Bewegung, zum Beispiel Ausdauersport, regt die Durchblutung an und unterstützt die Bildung neuer Nervenzellen. Dadurch kann sich das Gehirn leichter an neue Reize anpassen – also auch an die Veränderungen durch ANC.**Fazit**Für mich macht das Gesamtpaket den Unterschied: Ich kann die AirPods in allen Lebenslagen einsetzen, ohne mir viele Gedanken machen zu müssen.
