Knowing what you're getting for under $9 shipped is the key to happiness for this product. I's made in Pakistan of OK stainless steel, definitely not high carbon. It keeps an edge, though, and is easy to sharpen. The handle is intensely green and made of laminated wood. The custom black painted sheath is thin, one notch above cardboard, quality. The knife is finished beautifully enough to show off to friends, who will exclaim "sick knife, man!". The workmanship on close examination, however, is a lower grade, rushed grinding job. You'll need to dress it. The serrations are bad. From them to the end of the blade measures 2.5".Me, I'm very happy, but have different plans than showing it off to friends. I got a knife which is almost the shape I want for an I don't give a #@%* what happens to it price. Feeling no regret as I wrench it from its handle and mercilessly grind it beyond recognition. Ha,ha ha, my creation! Igor switch on the wheel...

I can definitely say I'm $7 happy with my $7 knife. I was happily surprised because the knife is bigger than expected. It could definitely be sharper, but what did you expect for this cheap?It is sharp enough for most day to day tasks but could benefit from some TLC. The handle is big enough that I can get a secure grip on it without using the finger hole if I wanted to and the hole allows me to choke up on the knife for fine detail work.The only real downside to this knife is that the "serrations" aren't sharp! It's like they sharpened the entire blade and then cut notches in it, leaving the inside completely flat. I'm going to try and fix that with a file. Also the sheath is embarrassingly cheap, but it will do for now.

As mentioned by a previous reviewer, the handle is a grass colored green whereas the picture shows more of a black color, unless you look more closely, then you can notice a hint of green. I wanted black, so I ordered 12, unfortunately. I was about to complain about the order, but decided I should check the product again, and it read that it has a green handle, so I'll accept my error. The description on the box reads: May have sharp edge(s) and/or point. I guess that is how they cover their backsides, so you may get a decent edge or a butter knife. The serrated edge is more of a saw edge instead of a knife serration, which I don't particularly care for. I'm not particularly happy with it, but I accept it was my lack of being more observant. I'm taking a star off for the misleading picture that displays the serrated edge differently and another one for the misleading picture. I guess I have a stockpile I can grab from if I need to give someone a quick gift.

Full tang. I like this a lot. Well designed.

What I didn't like was it wasn't sharp at all. The saw teeth were cut in and not forged in like they should have been. The sheath is crap. There's probably some disclaimer saying that the sheath may or may not look like what what you paid for. But the sheath should at least fit the knife. The sheath should hold and snap close. Not here ,the snap doesn't snap. But that doesn't matter the strap is big enough to hold Rambo's Survival knife. On top of all that it looks like it stitched together but mine was glued and the glue didn't hold it fell apart. I had to fix it myself and repair it to where it would hold the knife and everything. I won't buy from them again.

Perfect size, sheath has held up , use it ever day at work. Cheap steel tho hard to hold an edge but I love it

I love everything about this knife from the way it feels in my hand to the sharpness of the blade and the size of the knife. The one thing I do not care for is the sheath, it is a little too slick with the knife coming out but still all in all a great night and a five star review nonetheless

You know the saying "There's more than one way to skin a cat"? Well it may be true, but with this you'll never need to look for another! All your cat-skinning requirements conveniently incorporated into one easy-to-use piece of jagged steel!This item was actually advertised in the "Pet Accessories" category for a short time, which, as someone with a sick sense of humour, i can appreciate.It actually is a good knife. It's small and easy to carry/conceal, not overly sharp but VERY fine point, and mean-looking in the hand! Like something an orc would design.(Disclaimer for the humourless: No, I do not skin cats)

It is a great little knife.. fits good in the hand.. but it did NOT come razor sharp out the box!

Este pela gatos, tiene un tamaño aceptable para ser un skinner.El acero es muy básico , fácil de afilar, es artesanal de Pakistan .La empuñadura viene en color verde , ( no negra )Es de esperarse en un cuchillo de estas características .La funda, muy chafa . Cumple con guardarlo y retener el cuchillo , pero calidad mala.Coleccionable.
