Really needed something small to keep horsetail in check from a neighbouring property whose owner is unable to tackle the spread of it. Having Arthritis of the hands and wrists myself, I've been struggling to use manual tools and needed to source a simpler and easier solution. Came across these by accident and grabbed them like my life depended on it. Definitely one of the best garden buys I've made. Very simple to use and has cut down the labour of tackling that blasted horsetail (used the grass cutting blade), which has helped prevent too much pain for me. Then used the hedge blade to trim back my golden privet, hebes and to neaten a couple of Euonymus Fortunei shrubs. Did find I needed to use both hands at times when trimming hedging. I love the fact you can switch blades which makes it one of the most versatile garden tools I own. Seems to be of a good quality too and although I found it a tad heavy at times, that is my issue and wouldn't be a problem for those who don't have hand/wrist problems. I used it straight from the box and the battery lasted well over 40 minutes, charged fairly quickly and being cordless meant I wasn't liable to trip over cords. Acting on another persons' review I did attach a cord to the safety key and wrapped it around my wrist. I'm very pleased with this purchase and for the price paid, I think it is a bargain.

It is a lightweight portable mini grass cutter and plant trimmer. Yes, it will trim grass and cut back thin stems on roses and shrubs. The blades are well made look to be made of steel and are sharp enough. Changing blades is difficult to master the secret is flexing the blade upward and keeping it parallel to the body. Be careful because the drive cogs that activate the blades are only plastic and could be the weakest link in the power train. Replacing a blade is easy it just slides in. Safety device is a contact breaker a steel clip pin that slots in to complete the circuit if it is not in place the trimmer won't work. Beware it falls out of its slot and easily lost...we know... remedy attach a cord to it and wrap around your wrist. Charging is easy and straightforward the included instructions are good and even available to download etc. It works and it is a useful tool ideal for trimming grass around a grave and light work in the garden. A chain saw and standard hedge trimmer it isn't.

After cutting through the cord of my old cutter and living to tell the tale I decided to reduce my death risk and go for a cordless trimmer. This one had great reviews and a fab price for something that wasn't going to be used a huge amount. It's so much easier to use being smaller in blade length and much lighter. I have arthritis in my shoulders and these were perfect at doing a great job but not causing me pain. The charge light is still showing max charge even after it's 1st use so happy with the amount of charge I seem to get. Totally recommend this great trimmer.

Great wee tool. Getting put to good use tidying up, around the family plots at the cemetry. Compeditivley priced, easy and comfortable to use. I NOTICED IN OTHER REVIEWS THAT SOMEONE MADE A STRING LOOP OVER THE DETACHABLE POWER CLIP. SO, I TOO MADE A LANDYARD TO SLIP OVER MY WRIST AND THROUGH THE DETACHABLE CLIP , IN CASE IT CAME LOOSE AND WAS LOST. AN EASILY MADE ADDITION.

Really practical little garden tool for smaller trimming jobs. Lightweight enough to use comfortably and the cordless design makes it much easier to manoeuvre. Battery life has been perfectly adequate for general garden maintenance.

Does the job pretty nicely.

Easy to use and ideal for my small garden. Perfect for trimming a small lawn and bushes. More powerful than I thought it would be.
