(This review is from the opinion of someone going from a Polk Audio S2 soundbar in a living room approximately 15x15 that's open to our kitchen.) First and foremost... Wow... The audio quality, especially the dialogue from any streaming service is exquisite. Keeping all the settings at default is still very impressive. Adjusting them to your liking is simple (especially if you have a Samsung phone), and is very intuitive. I have a Samsung TV, and the "Q-Symphony" setting DOES make a difference, but don't spend close to $700 just because of this feature. You'll be disappointed. I don't have the additional back surround speakers, but just with the soundbar and sub, it's very, very nice. At close to $700 I can assure you the audio quality is exactly what you're paying for, and if this price point suits your budget, you won't be disappointed. As stated, the dialogue is the most impressive for me. You won't miss any conversation in your TV shows or movies. The sound in general is loud, clear, deep, authentic, and crisp. Not to mention the 9in sub hits hard and deep. I dare to say it is close to my 10in Polk Audio sub I have for my basement "true surround sound". If you are part of the Samsung family, (phone, headphones, tv's, etc.) definitely consider buying this. Truly, it's a fantastic soundbar, that I don't plan on replacing it for a very long time.

Its better than I expected. The sound truly fills up the room and it feels like true surround sound.

the small sub sounds good, the enclosure isn't the greatest quality but gets down low and stays clear even at high volume, the sound bar isn't really directional but it sounds good and it looks really great. the Bluetooth function has underlying noise, could be interference from my end but I didn't have anything in the room that could cause interference besides power cables that came with it

My old sound bar died, so I first tried a Bose sound bar. The nine year old 4K Samsung TV would not recognize the Bose sound bar using the HDMI cable (ARC). I had to manually go in and try to "connect" it each time via the menu setting of the TV. And then it either failed to connect, produce sound, or be able to control the sound level. It would work 1 out of 8 tries after powering off and back on and then manually connecting through the menu. (I'm not including the hours of troubleshooting that took place.) Needless to say the Bose sound bar got returned. The Samsung HW-Q800C instantly got recognized by the "old" Samsung TV and works and sounds great. The sub-woofer was also recognized right away. Obviously Samsung products are more compatible with older models than Bose. Something to consider if you have an older TV.
