The top thing is value for money. I was a bit wary if it would be a scam because of how wildly varied the price is on a lot of these islands, I paid £280 which is about on par when you exclude the ones valued closer or over a grand. It works well, was the style I wanted to match my kitchen. The delivery box was dented but all the panels were packed with a lot of polystyrene so no marks on them. One of the backing panels was missing a patch of the finish, about a 50p size, but I'm going to colour it with sharpy and at the back of a cabinet you'll never know. That being said there are a couple of things which could be better, and I feel I'd have to spend more money or go for a different style to achieve. The biggest one being flex in the drop leaf, it would be hard to avoid any flex in a drop leaf, but it's enough that I wouldn't feel super comfortable resting my elbows fully on it and I'd be worried about the arms snapping. I'm going to reinforce the arms with a couple of strips/thin right angle of steel on either side since there's plenty of space in the pocket, and ensure the wooden pocket is more tightly screwed onto the counter top with some wood glue. I still wouldn't be kneeding any dough on that side but hopefully enough to sit with a coffee and book/phone and not think about how much I'm leaning on it. Obviously my alterations will likely void any guarantees but I'm handy and don't mind fixing things. I also had one screw sheer on me, and one of the holes for the shelf pegs is oversized so I had to pack it a little for a tight fit. A lot of people recommend ditching any flat pack screws but I didn't have/fancy getting a full set of replacements. On the eco/health front, it's flat pack manufactured wood, even if the finish is nice, and that involves a lot of chemicals in the process. There's a standard little warning of the chemicals in the wood, but you'd only avoid that if you used solid wood, and I don't have the budget for it. Overall I'm quite happy with my purchase, would recommend and considering other stuff from same/similar manufacturers.

This is amazing I had some one come and do my flat packs and this was the first one done I’m so pleased it looks great lots of storage very functional it looks like a professional has fitted it with the kitchen that’s how good it looks and the gentleman found it easy to assemble the instructions he said were very good do Hugh praise all round

Awful island don’t not buy!! The drawers are measured incorrectly which means they cannot be built, one of the wheels doesn’t work. Whole island covered in marks and scratches. Avoid at all costs! Asked for replacement items was told no, they could offer a 10% refund and I keep the broken item. So now I have an island I am unable to use.

I have had this kitchen island for 18 months. It is functional and sturdy with lots of storage. I am pleased with my purchase

Nice item, lovely shade of green. Good value for money Well built, glad we've bought it. Just two slight negative points, the drawers a little flimsy and the wheels being plastic even locked they slip on a laminate floor,I need to try and stop that.

Really impressed with the product. Arrived on time, lots of different components that were packaged well and safely. Instructions detailed and easy to follow. It looks really nice in our kitchen, colour is beautiful. I would definitely recommend this product. Very good value for money.

A great addition to our kitchen. Gives us the extra worktop space we needed and we can fold the top down and push the island a bit more out of the way when needed. Is exactly as stated in the description and the pictures. Very happy with it.

Build quality is good and assembly instructions were easy to follow. There were a few scratches on the unit which shows up against the black paint and one of the locking wheels won't lock but these are just minor issues and overall we're really pleased with it.
