Bookaholic bamboo lap desk with vent holes and built-in mouse pad

Very nice and sturdy lap desk. I thought it would be uncomfortable due to the lack of cushioning, but it’s not. My laptop can finally breathe on my lap now and there’s plenty of room for the mouse.The mousepad seems to be just a regular pad glued onto a cutout on the board. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion; just an observation. Once it gets worn down (as any and all mousepads do) I'm sure you can just glue another one on there after ripping off the old one.As others have mentioned the slots for your phone/tablet are very narrow so getting your phone in there with a thick case won’t be possible.Side note: smells great too :)

Excellent product.. Nice design. They put work and heart into it. I do a lot of online meetings and this is so helpful a place for my laptop or tablet and phone. Awesome!

I love this! I wanted something that would hold my laptop and have a mouse pad - perfect product! My husband loves it too so I'm ordereing another one for him! The only downside - there isn't enough room for my dog to sit on my lap while using it).

Got my bamboo lap desk a day ago. I have a 15" HP Spectre with a Logitech mouse.Overall, the vent holes do a great job of allowing air to dissipate heat. The mouse pad is a good size and texture nice.A few cons are that the mouse pad is slightly wider than the wood that it's glued to, so it hangs over the edge. Eventually, this may lead to the separation of the pad with the wood. Another thing is that the slots aren't going to be too functional with a phone in a case (definitely why all product pictures have phones without cases). I have a pretty minimalistic case and it's a tight fit.Overall, you get what you pay for and this will do the job that I need.
