I was looking for some mid-to-light weight multi-purpose gloves for cool/cold weather travel. I was not looking for heavy duty ski gloves or deep cold gloves. Rather I wanted something that will work well for hiking in above freezing temperatures and that can withstand the occasional rain I come across. I think these will fit the bill nicely.These gloves are a tad bit bulkier than would be ideal due primarily to the soft inner lining. But they are definitely not prohibitively bulky. In fact the inner lining makes them very comfortable. I tested and all fingers work with my touch screens on both Apple and Samsung devices which was a nice surprise. The outer texture definitely has water resistance to it. But it does remind me of winter gloves that I grew up with where that exterior coating would eventually flake off. It is way too soon to tell, but I am hoping that will not be the case with these.Sizing gloves is always hit or miss with my hands. If I need a tight fighting glove for mechanic work, a size medium is usually perfect. For bulkier cold weather gloves a large is usually what I get and they usually have a decent amount of room in them. So I would say my hands are firmly between a medium and a large (8 1/4 - 8 1/2 inch below the knuckles). The large size in these Hiramex fit PERFECTLY. Nice and snug but not too tight at all. However if a traditional size Large fits snugly you may want to size up in these.Overall these are pretty much exactly what I was looking for in a general-purpose cool/cold weather glove. No complaints, especially at this price point.

Size chart said I should order large, turns out I should have ordered XL. That said, I like a little space, not a tight fitting glove, at least for warmth. I could wear them, just a bit too tight for my taste. I would have liked to be able to use these gloves, but too small. Order a size larger than you think you need from the charts unless you like a really snug glove.I like them because they feel nice inside, really soft. They flex nice. The outer layer is the water resistant layer so no wet knit if you get your gloves wet. I ran them under a faucet for about 1 minute and my fingers were dry when removed. The soft layer does not come out with your hand. Overall, these appear to be a good glove. Since it is August, they will not be tested for warmth for a few months, but from what I see they look like they will be warm in somewhat cold weather, maybe a bit into the 20's F.I like that there is no branding at all on the gloves, I don't like logos and such. The fingerprints that appear in the photos are not really on the gloves that I received, just black gloves. There are no grips that help when driving a car, the material is a bit on the slippery side but not bad.If we find these gloves are not as nice as described, this review will get an update.

I especially like that I can use my phone while wearing these gloves. Not as easily as not wearing them but with a bit more attention they do work. These gloves as a mens medium fit my hands perfectly. I obtained them to use while riding my bike in the colder weather and with fall temperatures they keep my hands warm. I would not recommend them for cold temperatures of 40F or less but for most of the fall and spring they will work great for me.

These gloves are quite nice. The outside feels like a nylon-type water-repellent (I haven't tested the waterproof claim) fabric, and the insides are lined in fleece; they are quite warm, not too thick as to be cumbersome, and the touch screen fingers work well. The drawstring detail is a nice added feature, and the strings are capped with lightweight metal ends, so I think they will last longer than ends that are simply glued closed that tend to fray over time. Solid pair of winter gloves - recommended.

I am a male with normal size hands and the Large was very tight, I would recommend sizing up when purchasing. The outside has a nice feel to it and the inside has a nice soft texture that is comfortable when wearing

I got these for my husband. He is a school bus driver and he is out in the weather a lot. He told me these are too nice for him to wear on the bus! But he will still wear them! He said they fit very well and feel very warm. They will also be very nice since they have the touch screen fingers so he doesn't have to remove them for his phone or tech equipment on his bus. Great value for very nice gloves!

I got these to replace a pair in the coat I wear every day. Since we're not in winter yet, I can only give my first impressions from trying them on. I love the "fur lining". It's very soft, and feels like it will be very warm. I also like that each glove has a drawstring at the wrist to help keep the cold out. The fact that they are waterproof will be very helpful as I usually have to scrape ice and snow off my windshield before I leave for work. It also says that it has a full-palm touch screen fabric, which I haven't tried out yet. I think they will be a good addition to my winter protection wear. I can definitely recommend them.
