Pokemon: Super Deluxe Essential Handbook: The Need-to-know Stats and Facts on over 800 Characters!

A fantastic book, full of information. A must have for Pokemon fans. This continues to keep my grandson entertained. He absolutely loves it, even takes to bed with him every night. This must be one of the best things I have ever bought him. He likes the facts, pictures and the fact it’s in alphabetical order. Helps reading skills and learning how to use a dictionary. Highly recommend a real must have book. His friends also enjoy reading it and lots of children in his class now have this book, which creates good social interaction and discussions with his peers. So glad I found it, he treasures it.

This is a great book for any Pokemon enthusiasts out there. My little boy who’s 9, has recently become addictive to Pokemon, so I order this as a Christmas present and it was his favourite gift! Page after page of information about every single Pokemon (there are hundreds). Each page is colourful and engaging, with a picture of each Pokemon and a ‘bio’ next to it. My little boy has certainly learnt lots of new facts about the characters. I can it his dictionary of Pokemon, which is think is a close description. At just over £6, this is an absolutely amazingly well priced item- I certainly would have paid double the asking price for this. Brilliant, detailed book- perfect for any Pokemon fan out there. Highly recommended.

Really pleased with the book ... As a pretty new player to Pokemon games, I wanted a book showing the evolutions of them. This is a perfect referennce book ... Runs through A-Z, rather than by game. Typically a half page on each Pokemon - full page for some. It's a nice book to have a browse through. Thwre's a small evolutinary illustration for each Pokemon- which is cool. Dosen't reccomend best Pokemon. I personally would have liked to see what games each of the Pokemon have appeared in, but that's pretty much the only thing that would improve the book for me. It's nicely illustrated and is in full Colour throughout. The book is good value for money. Will be enjoyed and useful for fans of all ages. (I'm 48). ❤

This is my 6 year olds bible. It doesn’t leave his side and has been the best thing I have bought him in a long while. It is short amounts of text on every Pokemon (over 800!) not a lot so if you are looking for lots of detail this isn’t the book for you but it has enough for him- a brief summary of the Pokemon and key stats and moves (he isn’t bothered by that so much), but this is a well thumbed book and would recommend for any young Pokemon fan

I ordered this after seeing other reviews about the book and thought it would be great for my Son who's decided to now collect the trading cards, it arrived on time but was not in the condition described online sadly so I have returned it to the seller. I went back and re- read the description incase I had it wrong when ordering which I did, I didn't even notice it was a 2nd hand book!! Even so after re- reading it twice over it still wasn't as described in my opinion. I have no problem buying 2nd hand, who doesn't love giving something a 2nd lease of life, but here was two different definitions of the quality described. The cover and most pages were more worn than worded, there was damage to the spine and the edges of the book when closed. To note the book was returned based on condition not as expected and not the contents of the book. The book contents itself was cute, I know hardly anything of pokemon other than I used to watch it 20 years ago with our Eldest Son! There were lots of pokemon listed and detailed, the colours were vibrant and engaging. It is definitely a good book for the young kids who can read or learning to read to use to aid in the learing of character. I'm not sure how current all the characters are but still a great book for starting out. 4 stars given based on book condition alone. Overall I'd recommend the book and I'm happy with the prompt resolution of a refund.

ordered this for christmas for my friend who is obsessed with pokemon. you get a page of contents + information on over 800 pokémon AND their evolutions! you also get things like weight + stats and cool facts like that. if you are a pokemon fan yourself or are thinking of ordering this for a fellow pokemon fan, DO IT!!!! THEY'LL LOVE YOU FOREVER!!!! super great for the price too. :)

I bought this originally for my 6 year old son, who has loved it so much that I ended up buying it for two of his pokemon loving friends for their birthdays. It is well worth the money as it is fully coloured with plenty of info on hundreds of pokemon. It's really well made and printed.

I bought this for my 7 year old for Christmas after he had started to talk about Pokémon with his friends at school. I am not exaggerating when I say he reads this book every night in bed. He is now an expert in every type of Pokémon. He has pages folded over to mark his favourite Pokémon. Probably one of the best read books I have ever bought him! Highly recommended!!

The product came in excellent quality. I don't have any negatives from the seller. My only "complain" is that the book doesn't state what level each pokemon evolves. Other than that, it's great. Highly recommend.

My 6 year old Pokemon partner got me into the game but reading the book as we collect brings it to another level. If you are serious about learning, collecting and playing Pokemon Trading Card Game, this is a great book, up to date book. Super Deluxe replaced the deluxe as of July 2018. I have both. This book is an almanac of facts about Pokemon as represented on the Pokemon trading cards. Its is not about video games or other Pokemon related gear. This is a comprehensive guide to all the characters. It starts with a few pages on the different categories=s and types of Pokemon and then each of the 800 characters has a 1/2 to full page on their description in detail including height and weight, phonetic pronunciation of their names, and their possible movement and evolution into advanced staged characters. On the 800 descriptions, you enter a world of these amazing characters, some gentle and other evil and many man hour to create this incredible alternate universe if you will. You will learn about the much desired and powerful Legendary and Mythical Pokemon and their strengths and weakness, what energizes them and their trainer assist cards as you, the reader are the actual Pokemon trainer. Get descriptions and info-did you know that cute little Pikachu is a mouse Pokemon of the electric type from All and other regions and I am paraphrasing a quote from the book s(he) "naturally stores electricity it's body and needs to discharge it regularly to maintain good health"* You can take it as deep as you want to go. And you thought Pokemon was a kids only game. Lot's of strategy in this make believe word to get you ready to play, trade or perhaps enter a tournament. I have looked a few different books on this subject at a hobby shop in my local mall and this one is very well formatted and easy to use no matter what level you may be at and if you know how to read. Literally a 6 year old has spent hours with it. Me too!

The kids love it. They carry it everywhere they go.

It has almost all the data and facts about the pokémon till the alola region. But the price is a bit too high. If you can get it for one thousand rupees or less it is worth it. I enjoy reading it and the color and texture of the book is amazing.
