Toilet Cleaner Refill, Pine & Mint, Removes Limescale, 5L

This was my first "amazon returns" purchase, saving me 50% on something I would have bought anyway. Thank you, Amazon.Great biodegradeable citric acid based toilet cleaner. Fairly heavily scented. Effective.

This is brilliant. Using it on our boat for the two 'heads. Cleans them really well (no scrubbing required) and the tanks smell just great.

This toilet cleaner smells pleasant and works effectively. I like the smell of the pine and mint but consider it nothing special prefer the sage variant, the latter of which is not supplied in this 5l size. It is just as effective as all but the most intensive industrial-strength non-eco toilet cleaners I have ever used. Stains are removed easily without my needing to overexert myself scrubbing.Where this product falls down is the packaging. Once upon a time Ecover 5l refills all had an easy pour spout which made decanting easy. Now, however, in the best traditions of British shrinkflation, the pour spout is no longer supplied. Instead, you are expected to purchase Ecover's own unique pump for ease of refilling into a smaller container. No other brand's pump fits so if you have any standard 38mm pumps lying about, you cannot use them with this item. This lets the manufacturer squeeze an extra £9.25 (as opposed to the generic £ 3- £ 3.50ish for a standard 38mm pump) out of you. Needless to say, I am most unhappy about this change, not least because I like to swap out my cleaning brands very occasionally to prevent nose-blindness and boredom. Being forced to go back to using my pound shop funnel is a PITA and for the eldery and infirm may not be an option because when full these 5l containers are heavy. Fortunately, I decant into the Welsh made Splosh brand refillable duck neck bottles, which have a fairly wide opening so using those I can just get away with pouring without a funnel.It is decent value for how well it cleans and how long it lasts. I'm one of those who likes to give our toilets a quick once over daily, rather than have an extended weekly scrubbing session and for this it is ideal since there's none of the itchy eyes and wheezing you get with some of the non-eco toilet cleaners. It's a plain white liquid so you can't see easily where you have poured it, but it deffo does do the trick in cleaning properly and leaving the porcelain throne spotless. It works well on the underside of our white plastic toilet seats to prevent limescale buildup/yellowing too. I have it on subscribe and save but the pump issue means that may not be forever if I find one that comes in a 38mm standard neck size that can compete on price, with a scent that doesn't leave me nauseous. The parent company doesn't have the best track record so I consider this product to be grey rather than strictly green.

Economic version of the smaller bottles. Lovely smell.

I like eco products, but not the price, this works out cheaper and I can just refill a smaller bottle as needed

Sehr guter Wc Reiniger. Kaufe mir immer die Kanister zum Nachfüllen der kleineren Flaschen um etwas Geld zu sparen. Der Reiniger riecht sehr gut. Der Duft hält auch lange an und die Reinigungskraft ist sehr stark und schonend für die Oberfläche.

Es ecológico y esto para mi es importantísimo.Con un perfume espléndido y suave que se mantiene en el ambiente de lavabo durante un buen rato.
