Hand harvested using traditional wooden tools, this salt enhances both sweet and savory dishes with its unique flavor and airy texture, making it a must-have for any culinary enthusiast. ## Description Urban Accents Fleur de Sel - Flower of Salt – is one of the world’s most sought-after artisanal finishing sea salts, sourced directly from the Guérande region of France. Using salt from the Pays Blanc – White Lands – known for its salt marshes along the northern coast of France, Urban Accents provides a fleur de sel that is one of the most coveted for its specific flavor profile and texture. Subtle notes of the ocean with a delicate complexity seamlessly blend with any food pairing. The light, natural flavor enhances both sweet and savory foods without overwhelming the palate. Urban Accents Fleur de Sel draws out more flavor from any dish it garnishes. Add a dash to salads to brighten fresh vegetables, sprinkle over home-baked goods for added depth or top gourmet confections to showcase special ingredients. The fluffy texture of this French sea salt is attributed to its crystalline structure which forms in a flower-like pattern as a lacy crust atop salt marsh basins. Urban Accents Fleur de Sel is collected exclusively by hand off the Atlantic coast of France using traditional methods with wooden tools. This trusted approach protects the integrity of the salt crystals for a genuine fleur de sel. Harvesting by hand is labor-intensive but is the only way to protect the salt’s flaky, delicate texture. The unrefined nature of Urban Accents Fleur de sel makes it an ideal finishing salt with oversized grains that dissolve almost imperceptibly.Elevate any meal, from weeknight dinners at home to an excursion into the gourmet realm; Urban Accents Fleur de Sel adds a delicious finishing touch of professional quality. Available in 8 ounces, Urban Accents Fleur de Sel – Flower of Salt - is gluten free and contains only one ingredient: Fleur de Sel Salt. ## Features - HAND HARVESTED: Collected with traditional wooden tools using a centuries-old method for guaranteed authenticity. - SOURCED FROM FRANCE: Skimmed off the top of the world-famous salt marshes in Guérande, a region renowned for its exquisite sea salt. - USE ON SWEET AND SAVORY DISHES: Intensify the flavor of any ingredient with just a few flakes on a wide variety of culinary creations. - UNIQUE FLAVOR AND TEXTURE: The flavor is nuanced with the mineral composition of the region and the large grains are snow-like in texture, melting on the palate. - SMALL BATCH: Urban Accents Fleur de Sel is crafted using only the finest crystals for best quality. ## Images ![Urban Accents Fleur De Sel - Flower of Salt, Great for Savory & Sweet Dishes (8 oz) - Sea Salt from France and Hand Harvested by Wooden Tools. While researching the health benefits of quality salts, I discovered this brand of table salt and have been absolutely delighted by the distinct and lively flavor this excellent salt adds to every dish. It would be wasteful to use this as a cooking salt as you would miss out on the brilliant burst of flavor and slight crunch of this delectable flavor enhancement. Even boring leftovers become tasty treats when livened up with this wonderful salt. I have actually gone from completely avoiding salt to totally enjoying this great salt -- with no adverse effects! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Very delicate. *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on July 18, 2018* This works great on salads and as a topping for my caramel truffles. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars This is the best one I have used by far *by M***B on Reviewed in the United States on May 27, 2018* I only use sea salt to cook with and flavor my food. This is the best one I have used by far. It has a great texture and flavor. And at this price, it is a super value. I will absolutely be re-ordering. Thanks, Urban Accents.
