I tried these JTEC screen protectors and honestly they were not great quality. I went through three of them in about five months, which tells me they just break far too easily. I am not someone who drops my phone a lot, but on the few occasions I did, the protector cracked straight away. To be fair, my actual phone screen never broke, so they do serve their purpose as a line of defense. They are also very cheap, which makes them good value in that sense. The problem is that once the protector cracks you have to replace it, and changing a screen protector properly can take around ten minutes if you want it aligned and bubble free. Doing that every couple of months just became annoying. I have since switched to a different brand and have not had the same issue. For me, these are too flimsy and not worth the constant replacements. If you are looking for a quick and cheap option they will work, but if you want something durable I would avoid these and spend a little more.

I’ve always been obsessive about my tech and for *years* the first thing I did was bought shock-cases and glass screen protectors. When I got this phone (iPhone 14 so you can tell how long the first protector has been on) JETec was my choice of protector. I’ve always had the thought ‘is it overkill … does it actually work?’ and I’ve never had to find out. The protectors were just there silently doing their job. When I traded in tech on upgrade it was frequently jokingly met with ‘have you even used this?’ I’m so obsessive. But recently I found out their worth! My beloved dog sent my iPhone clattering to the floor but on the way down the screen hit our stone fireplace. A complete ‘AHHhhhhh!!!’ moment. But … all was ok. If you look at the photo the screen protector had cracked through (as it’s meant to do in such cases) but underneath it my iPhone screen is still like new. It did its job! And if you wondered why for your £6.99 you get three protectors, it’s because if your protector cracks you *must* change it. If cracked, it’s done its job and you need to replace it. But that’s the thing: for £6.99 you get three protectors. I’ve had phones for *years* and never had a serious accident like this one. But my screen is all good and I’ve been able to replace the protector without having to spend more money. How much would a new iPhone screen have been? They are really easy to fit but *DO* watch the video - it takes a few seconds but you pick up some tips that make it really easy to fit with perfect alignment first time and there are no bubble problems.
