Neighbors [Blu-ray]

Maybe I just love Seth Rogan so I'm biased but... this is the funniest movie I've seen in at least a year! We laughed out loud throughout, HARD and sometimes had to rewind it because we were laughing through dialogue. I am in my 30's so I could very much identify with Seth and Rose's characters. You know the "i'm still cool, right?" attitude. They make an amazing couple on screen and what I really loved about this is Rose's character is actually VERY FUNNY! She reminded me of me and my friends, you know real people! SO often in comedy movies the wife/girlfriend is always pretty , supportive and the only funny lines she has are making fun of her man. Not here, Rose shined. If you loved her as Helen in Bridesmaids you'll be excited she got another change to show that women can be funny too. But this movie isn't just for the late 20s 30-somethings. Zac Efron and Dave Franco were GREAT and hilarious! They were so INTO the parts that were so over the top cheesey and hilarious. Reminded me of Ben Stiller, true comedic acting. I don't know much about Zac, but I'll be looking out for him. Franco, he's already intrigued me. All in all... if you like the Seth rogan type of movie (you know cursing, potty humor, weed smoking, clever jokes, a little bit of dark humor) you'll love this. Zac and Dave (the frat boys) will surprise the f*ck outta you too.

One of the funnier movies I've watched in a long time...kinda a silly funny but nevertheless its funny and had bothe my husband and I laughing out loud!!! Plus I personally enjoyed watching Zac Efron with his shirt off(or on, very easy on the eyes,lol) . A movie u can feel for the "neighbors" but they wind up getting themselves into trouble...just thinking of it now is making me laugh, I have told everyone I know since I watched a few weeks ago, that this is a movie that they HAVE to watch !!! Worth the few dollars and I can't see how anyone wouldn't find this movie really funny & worth watching,..I would watch again and actually looking forward & have made plans for niece & her boyfriend to come over & we will rent again,maybe buy this time, don't hesitate, if looking to watch a comedy, this is the one u have to watch b4 any other!!!!!

Super Funny!!! In a world where every time you turn on the evening news and it's one horror story after another.. It's great to take a short break from all the war and terrible things humans due to each other,With a movie like this.. Have you ever had people move in next door to you and ruin your peace and quiet ?? That's what happens in this movie.. But, in a real funny way.. More often than not I like movies with Seth Rogen.. And I laughed a lot during this movie.. Rose Byrne and Zac Efron shine as usual.. So, do several actors in this movie.. We live out in Indian Wells Valley, Ca. where a lot of people could use a nice break from their work days , or even work nights.. Thanks to all who made this movie.. My wife and I had fun watching this movie.. Keep making them.. So, take the time to watch this and tell me you did not enjoy it.. Thanks to all involved in the making of this truly funny movie...

Welcome to the neighborhood... I have to say, some of the best lines in movies are in the trailers, and I loved the trailers for Neighbors, the movie itself seemed to be missing something? I get the idea, couple with a new baby gets a fraternity for neighbors, the what could go wrong possibilities are endless, but even so it was no where near what I expected -sigh. The scene with Zac dressed as a Canadian mounty or maybe it was a boy scout uniform -in the previews he shouts "Are you ready for a show?!" it wasn't in the version of the movie I saw, and I really wanted to see that part, I think for Zac it was supposed to be good bye high school musical and hello swearing and sex scenes? That didn't quite happen, the only time his so-called girl friend got near him was at the beginning when she jumps up and wraps her legs around his waist, otherwise she's with Dave Franco and talking with Rose Byrne, I don't know what her character name was, only that she was played by Halston Sage and had 2 lines in the whole movie -a rumored reputation in the real world might have shortened her role, but she was the only one I laughed at during the movie, she turned out to be cute:.. Zac as Teddy was the nicest fraternity president there could be, hazing was never so compassionate. Rose and Seth were a strange couple, and I'm sorry to say that topless scene with Rose's character too drunk to feed the baby were hard to look at, hanging out of a nursing bra isn't sexy, it's embarrassing. She's one of my favorite actresses, so it's hard to watch her in a compromising role. Seth seemed rather ordinary, no inappropriate drug use or humiliating actions for him -& he handles that kind of thing quite well, I think he's kinda famous for it? It was pretty obvious to me there were lots of scenes cut from the movie that would have made a more complete fulfilling film, but oh well, at least they didn't try to assassinate a real world leader and go straight to DVD? All in all, to my surprise, I liked miss Sage the best -I really thought I'd hate her? I'd love to see the deleted scenes, at least with Zac in the funny hat putting on a fireworks show, let him misbehave already! He's more than just a shirtless wonderboy, I swear! Anyway, oh well, it was almost a good movie -recut it could be great, let me do the editing, only that might be too much, I'm brutally honest and have a sick and twisted sense of humor, so....

I absolutely loved NEIGHBORS! My friend and I saw it in theatres back when it first released, and loved it then. I loved it just as much when I rewatched it! The dynamics of this movie are fantastic. It's hilarious, but it's also packed full of moments that make you stop and think. NEIGHBORS is packed full of humour and jokes are constantly being cracked, but while that's all going on, it's also simultaneously examining life itself. Is being in a Fraternity really the most important thing in your life? What do you do if you never study in school and hit your peak in college/University? Is getting old and starting a family really all that bad? NEIGHBORS never directly examines these life dynamics, but they're there and it makes the movie even easier to relate to, and so much funnier because it isn't happening to us. I 100% recommend NEIGHBORS! It's funny, the actors are amazing, and the story is super hilarious!! I can't wait for the sequel to come out!

Real good flick, lots of funny parts !!

Ok ça vole pas haut, ok, l'humour est souvent ultra gras mais cette irrévérence, ce "jusqu'au boutisme" font tout le sel de cette comédie qui ne se fixe aucune limite. Les bonus sont sympas (surtout les scènes coupées).
