It is very quiet and the “wind” output is superb on ALL speeds (1-9). Even fan speed #1 can be felt about 8’ away. Running it on the higher speeds is hardly discernible while watching television. Using this fan in a bedroom would be perfect too. The fact that the coil can be removed for cleaning is definitely a big plus. I cannot say enough good things about this fan. I purchased this fan based on the reviews. I was not disappointed! This DREO Tower Fan is AMAZING!!! I was so impressed! It is very quiet and the “wind” output is superb on ALL speeds (1-9). Even fan speed #1 can be felt about 8’ away. Running it on the higher speeds is hardly discernible while watching television. Using this fan in a bedroom would be perfect too. This is a powerful and affordable fan. It genuinely cools me down on hot summer days to the point I have to pull out a throw blanket. Our ceiling fan broke and I needed some air flow and this definitely works! I love it and will be purchasing one for my bathroom too! It’s light enough to move around, sleek, and it’s not too noisy (but not silent either). So far, I’ve had this 2 years and it’s been pretty reliable! I run it everyday in the summer!
