I don't really struggle with body odor so I did not buy this product to address that issue, however, I do have very dry skin and most soaps dry it out further. This soap is soothing and not over drying, also it will take off makeup completely and you won't get any on your towel. It's worth it alone for that because I have always found make up remover to be very messy and not very effective to use. Soap up your face (or body) and leave on your skin a few seconds before rinsing for the best results. Whether this is a good value for the money is entirely dependent on your soap tray situation, I used a soap standle and got a very long life from this soap, but I can imagine if you left it in your shower soap holder it might melt into muck. This soap has a faintly sweet mostly neutral smell it will not compete with the scent of your laundry soap, deodorant, or shampoo.

This soap smells great! It comes with a netted bag that cinches closed to serve as a scrubb cloth. Lathers well and is skin softening, it cleans well with a lovely lasting scent.

Works as well as the most expensive bar at taming old person smell and at a much better price. The more expensive bar is very drying ti the skin on the face. This brand leaves the face neutral, not moisturized but not dry either. Would buy again.

It is new to us so only used it once since we got it. Smells good. I don’t think it will last as long as a regular bat of soap but am going to keep using it.

Smells wonderful in the bath! Lathers into a fragrant, cleansing foam. Lasting effect all over your skin. If you use it everyday you will want to get a supply. Great addition to lotion cleansing.

Great product. Smells good and fresh. The longevity: I just wish it was a bigger bar of soap for the same price and lasted longer. It lathers great as long as you use the soap in the exfoliating bag that is included.

As I've aged it has become clear that my body odor is harder to wash away and keep away. I don't know if it's the old person smell, but I don't like it and that's what matters. Some prescription drugs cause noxious body odor, too. I read about persimmon soap and saw that it was quite expensive This brand is not as expensive and it works very well. Also, I use a crystal for my deodorant. Together with this soap I smell nice and odor-free, sometimes for 48 hours. I keep the bar away from water while not using it, and use it on my underarms only. That way it will last much longer.
