I'm 5'11" and it does the job. It's meant to train you to pull your shoulders back and stop hunching over. If it pulls under your armpit, that's because it's either too tight or you're hunching over. When I adjust it and I pull my shoulders back, there is room for my fingers to run under the straps. It works. I wear it 15-20 minutes at a time, 4-5 times per day, especially when I do tasks where I hunch over a lot. Overtime, it's building muscle memory, so even when I don't wear it, I'm more inclined to pull my shoulders back after only a few days of wearing it. That being said, North Americans are taller than Chinese people. My husband has wider shoulders than mine and there isn't a whole lot of velcro left to wrap around the loops, so I'll have to buy some additional velcro bands for him. The manufacturer would be smart to make XL size with longer bands. Overall, for the price, it does the job.

I have a job that requires me to sit for hours together, which resulted in bad posture and problems related to it. I’ve been doing neck straightening exercises for years with very poor results. I’ve already noticed a change in my posture after only a few days use. Certainly seems like a winner to me.

This posture corrector is soft and surprisingly comfortable. I was concerned about slouching as I age and was not pleased with my postureas I noticed a curve in the mirror. After a few weeks of use, I am straightening up. I am quite happy with this product.

I was in the market to find something that can help with hunched back problems. I am always sitting at a desk rather at work or home gaming. Came across this product and so far it's amazing. The straps are easily adjustable. It helps keep my back into the correct posture while i'm sitting at my desk without me feeling forced and awkward. It actually felt natural. Worth the investment.

This is great and comfortable. I've purchased other posture correctors in the past and this one is great. I've noticed with all correction devices right under my armpits get sore in the front from the correction device pulling your shoulders back. If you can bare it for a couple weeks it's worth it. I've worn it over and under my clothes. Really great design.

Would not recommend if you live alone. I'm a 6' 170lb guy with athetlic/muscular build and have a really hard time reaching the velcro straps to tighten this. Should have been designed so that the straps weren't at the center of your back to start.

Unless you're a contortionist, you need help to put this on. That's just not feasible for many people.I'm also not really sure it did any good. Just kind of pulls your shoulders back. You get what you pay for.

I was very disappointed in this. It’s absolutely impossible for me to put on by myself. I have to have a second person do it for me, which means I will never use it. Throwing it in the trash. Waste of money.
