Butter Bell Crock by L. Tremain French Ceramic Butter Keeper, White Linen

Not only is this so incredibly pretty, people are always commenting on it but what an absolute joy to have fresh unadulterated butter that’s easy to spread! Why have I not bought one earlier???? Absolutely adore it!

Fed up of having to throw butter out in the summer. Rock hard, unspreadable from the fridge but now no problem. Doesn't hold much. I take butter from freezer to fridge, then to my normal butter dish to soften and the to the butterball. Holds half of a UK butter bar at a time. Love it..no more waste! Also bought one for my daughter. Very pretty in green shade.

This is a beautiful little pot. I try and limit processed foods and much prefer butter to alternatives, but found it difficult to spread. Enter the butter bell - it keeps the butter fresh and soft enough to use. Be sure to change the water regularly. I now have two of these so that I never run out, and have even started to make my own butter. What’s not to love!!

Bought for my husband and he loves it. It works - butter is soft enough to spread and doesn’t seem to spoil. Not tried in hot weather yet though.

It’s the perfect companion to keeping your Butter Fresh. Spreadable , It says use a stick of Butter. Half of a block. Of standard Size. I like It! It works if you pack the butter in with a spoon. Then smooth it out , that’s it. I change the water everyday. But they recommend every 3 days The Butter Bell thank you.

Love these butter bells. Only wish they were bigger as a family of 5 we are really going thru the butter, but all is good as clearing out toxic rubbish from my families diets and this is one way. Spreadable add vegetable oil or rapeseed and that’s a No No! Got my sister in law and mum to get one too.. 👍

I have recently bought a second of one of these because I found the first so good. So I always have one ready to fill. I find a quarter of a 500 gm of butter fits exactly. No more spreads with emulsifiers etc now.

Perfect! I never had one before and did not realsie I need to put some water in the base to form a seal... Gorgeous green colour and a bit bigger than I expected... but still lovely.

I just love my crock! Having soft, fresh butter is great! I always get one for a bride because it is the gift she never knew she wanted. They are attractive enough to be on the table, and they are easy to use and clean. You have to get one!
