SUPER COLD
I tried three different ice pads and these are the coldest. The pack is a 12 count while others are 8. I think these are worth the money because the product works like a charm.

Of course, if you're desperate and too lazy to get an ice pack, this will do the trick. But it only stays cold for a few minutes.

I had my baby 1 1/2wk ago, it works well and the padding isn’t too thick and not too thin so you can actually feel the coldness that you need to feel comfortable.

Very cooling and shelf stable
These perineal cold packs from NEWGO are in a substantial box weighing over 6 lbs. The box contains 12 cooling pads that do not need any refrigeration or freezer to give relief. The box is designed for storage. These pads offer cooling via a chemical reaction. Each pad is individually packaged and meant to be activated while still in the outside wrap for safety. The cooling pads are thick and slightly heavy when handling just one. These cooling pads are also shelf stable, with a reasonably long shelf life. The 12 pack box at the time of this review is $30.20 for 12 pads at a cost of approx $2.50 each. I think this is a decent value depending on the needs and situation. Based on my thoughts above, my rating is 4 Stars.

Cooled my stitched area
Only needed half of them for my stitches area, gave the other half to my pregnant neighbour. Lasted about 20 mins. Wasn't sure if one worked properly, didn't make the usual snapping noise and only got a little bit cool. Did the job and healed quickly.

Postpartum healing
Incredible for postpartum healing… I had a natural birth and needed stitches and these were fantastic! A little bit bulky when sitting down, but did not matter as they helped with the pain so much!!

Great for immediately after birth.
This was great for immediately after birth. It helped to relieve pain however it did leave me sitting in a wet patch as it defrosted.
