I just got this kit for Christmas and have been drinking old fashions for years. My drinks at home are better than the bar and this kit takes it to the next level the torch works as it should. The chip offerings are wide and of good quality. The wood pieces are oil finished on the outside and no finish on the inside. a large polished washer protect the wood inside. My only gripe would be the ice cubes mold are fiddley but I considered them a bonus. I leave the kit as it comes from maker in my liquor cabinet and guests are amazed at the fit and fish when it comes out. I like it enough to make a walnut box for it in the future and keep internals for display. It's a great deal for a starter and allows you the ability to try a lot of options.

For the price this set came with a lot of things included. The 2 ice ball molds worked like they should. Did not leak. The torch worked right away once filled with butane. 6 different types of flavour/chips gives you options. I tried the pecan chips with a Canadian whiskey and was pleasantly surprised. Easy to use and it imparted that Smokey flavour to the whiskey. Haven’t looked at the included e-book yet but that’s next on the list. I don’t think you could go wrong with this set as a fist step into smoked drinks.
