Front License Plate Overlay Decal - 98-02 Pontiac Firebird - (Color: Gloss Black)

So it was a little confusing ordering the color I needed as it’s not very obvious if your car is red for instance would you order red (no) but no big deal. What gets me is that this roughly 4x6 inch area is divided up into 4 decals! You can’t use water to reposition the reflective version so if you don’t get it right the first time too bad. This is ridiculous. Why couldn’t this come as a single (already spaced out) decal? Well I know why- it’s so that you can have variations of the bird. Perhaps there’s different versions for different years? I’m not positive either way. I haven’t attempted the install yet as I’m worried about screwing it up. I’m a perfectionist and if I get one of these off just by a smidgen it’s going to bother me forever. I was looking forward to this install but now I’m dreading it. Needless to say I thought all firebirds had the bird logo behind the front plate area but mine does not. You also can’t see through the paper around the images so lining up and placement is going to be a guessing job (stupid). Update- I had an artist friend help me out since you get one shot I thought an extra hand would be a good idea. It came out beautifully and just in time as it started to sprinkle halfway through. I’m happy.

It's a nice overlay however unless I'm colorblind the reflective silver I ordered looks more like white. (See pics) Also do NOT attempt to put this on with the supplied pre positioned decal sheet. They are off and I cut each individual piece out and did it that way. So far it has adhered well and looks ok. Just wish it was more of a silver color to match my other decals.

I still give 5*s because it's entirely my fault that I thought this was the full license plate cover so I ordered it the same color as my car. My car came from a state that required a front license plate so it doesn't have the front cover. I wanted to write this review in case anyone else finds themselves in this predicament as well, my solutions is since my car is black with purple stripes I picked up a blank aluminum license plate and some purple Rust-Oleum spray paint and I spray painted the license plate purple and stuck the black decal on that. Still wish I had the factory cover but at least it looks nice and the decal didn't go to waste

Ok, someone had a great idea with this and ran with it. Yes my 1978 Trans-Am had the large Firebird on the hood and yes it was very cool for it's time...Well some of us feel the Firebird by right should be somewhere on the car; and this reflective sticker that comes in several different colors, and is very reasonably priced.... >>> is the answer..Very easy to install and it really adds to your cars prestige.... Please Make sure the area is clean from all dirt and debris before adding the sticker. Take your time and it will turn out really nice...Hope this review is helpful in making your final decision.

Turned out kickass! Bought both the back and the license plate cover! Heres a before and after! Really brought the design back to life! Awesome job guys!
