Misleading description... laces are not walking shoe/boot laces as described. They are normal thin laces with a pattern which makes them look like so. If you are looking for extra thick or extra tough laces for walking boots buy something else.

My original North Face laces had deteriorated to the point of them breaking after just 16 months. Disappointed.I saw these on Amazon. More or less the same colour and reasonably priced too.Hiking/walking shoes need a sturdy lace to combat the varying conditions.Fitting the laces to the shoes they felt sturdy and strong. Wearing the shoes, the laces tighten to my requirement. Stayed tight showing no signs of being affected by the heavy rain.Early days admittedly. First impressions, very pleased.Recommended

Basic shoelaces, not really what I'd call boot laces though - or at least, not hiking boot laces. These would be better on light fashion boots. They fit my hiking boots fine but I have to be super careful when tightening them as I have metal bracers and they will likely fray pretty quickly.

Really good laces, pretty too. Fitted my walking boots which needed replacement laces. These have not worn out after over a year of daily walking, which the originals did. Both my husband and daughter have ordered the same on my recommendation and are very pleased too. The colour choices are a winner!

We bought 140cm laces and they were a good size and not too long for a gentlemen’s 7 eyelet (either side) walking/hiking boot and a perfect fit for a ladies 6 eyelet either side walking/hiking boot. They were a slightly thinner lace than the one’s that were originally on the boot but still excellent quality and good value for money.

I didn’t think I would find a lace to match my (Columbia) walking shoes. They are a little lighter but my shoes are quite well used and getting a little dirty now! Really pleased as the colour and style is like the original. I measured the old lace (1 got chewed in the vacuum cleaner) and ordered the same length. Arrived when the seller said it would.

I was disappointed when my laces on my karrimor trainers snapped. However these new laces are the ideal length and the colour scheme compliments my trainers giving them a new lease of life.

The laces in my Merrell walking shoes had fallen apart, hard to find originals and these seemed to fit the bill. Slightly shorter than the original but that is good as mine were far too long anyway. Look right and fit and tie well.
